Why is this station near a gate?

Look what i found on my alt qwerty5057 in Isanamo.

Why is that there? Some kind of lore mission, or a glitch in the servers? An unexplained April fools joke? Can we blow it up or dock at it? So many questions....

I dont know if this is important or not, but i have chickens.....

Blow it up? You haven't tried already? Furthermore, did you offer your advice at the time the design was being developed?

Well, the actual reason is very complex, and involves a lot of hard game balance decisions, carefully weighed to insure that no one group gained to much benefit.

But to boil it down to a tl;dr: Because that's where CCP decided to put it.

Stop trying to find hidden meaning in everything. Sometimes a turd on a rock that looks like your cousin Larry is just an oddly shaped piece of ****, not a sign from the universe.

Don't see the issue. Infact, if anything, it makes sense to put the gate near stations.

That's a great idea!!! Move them to random spots at DT every day and make them not show up in the right click menu or overview. I agree with you!!!
