Episode 4 of Wormhole Life, titled How to Roll Wormholes is finally up. It's geared for newer wormholers who are interested in learning how to collapse wormholes. We discuss basic wormhole mechanics, show info messages, math mass, and discuss various considerations when collapsing and operating in your sealed off system.

Might want to be careful about posting things like this, your permit to fly ships out of the force field without supervision might be revoked.

You missed the "bomb method".

I'm right behind you

You know, a regular higgs BS can defend itself if it's tackled, costs 250mil and has the same mass as an orca. If you're a cool kid you get a rolling machariel, that also jumps with ~290mil mass, but aligns like a cruiser and warps at 6AU.

I knew the exact mass that was put on it during the time of filming, so I wasn't concerned/saved an extra jump, but that is indeed bad form kiddies, don't try it at home. Nice catch!

This is a great point for those in corps. However, as a solo wormholer, logistics is a much greater concern. Using specialized ships for specific tasks takes backseat to using the least amount of ships you can get away with. Great point though, thanks for watching!

Constructive criticism is far more helpful for the younglings. Point out mistakes so they can engage in the discussion. But, if you'd like to tell everyone that your e-peen is bigger than mine, let's save that for other posts please. Thanks for watching!

The concept is the same. Look up how much mass your wormhole has - a C1 is usually 500 million mass. Simplify to 500. Choose a ship or ships with enough mass to collapse it while jumping back in to the system. Max transit mass is 20 mil. Round to 20. It would take 25 jumps to collapse, unless you use a ship that can barely squeeze through one way, then prop mod coming back through. You could use a Heavy Interdiction Cruiser to put out 65 mass per jump, which would take 8 jumps.

Unfortunately frigate holes are designed to be unroll-able to my knowledge. You could use a Heavy Interdiction Cruiser but it would take a lot of jumps.
