NOHO left cause they got so large as an alliance that nobody would fight them ever and when they did they would just steam roll with numbers. Essentially they were being what Brave is to Nullsec except with SP numbers higher then some PL members.

No content means no fun and the alliance universally decided they didn't want to be what NOHO had become. You can call it a failscade but it was more of a uniform decision to get back to actually getting fights.

Sorry, but that's not really true.

NoHo at the time it broke up ran on average much smaller gangs than it had early in the previous year. And main enemies were/are all running much larger gangs on average than Noho was. Each entity in the recent invasion had on their own larger numbers then NoHo's entire gang size. combined they by their own words topped 300. And average gang size for, for example hard knocks is much larger than noho's peak gang size in last 6 months.

TLC has started running 50 man gangs in home system, everyone is on average getting much larger which means in turn anyone wanting to go Bhaals deep needs to be larger again. The trend is ever upwards.

As for reasons, simple reason is you could say the leadership pretty much burned out, and general agreement was that the people in charge wanted to to do something new. What the entities wanted to do is so different than there was no reconciling it.

Nothing dramatic really. NoHo has been in wormholes longer then most of the remaining large entities has existed. Norcorp even longer. Sometimes people just want change. We came to wormholes because we wanted change originally.

Norcorp and Exceed has a relationship going back much further then wormholes has existed so you never know whats over the horizon. things could come full circle a third time :P

The corporations of No Holes Barred have decided to go their separate ways, I won't go into details as to why as it's not for me to say and even if it was, it's No Holes Barred's business (no offence meant).

Why did we leave Polaris? We left because Polaris is a rather large system and a lot of upkeep. As an alliance it wasn't an issue. However none of the corporations wanted to take on that mantle by ourselves, therefore leadership decided that it was for the best.

While I am sad to see Polaris go, I agree with the decision that was made.

Polaris is a fantastic system and I hope that it becomes someone's home rather than just a rental empire for whoever. It will be a lot of work for someone to take Polaris, considering the state of the system at the moment, but I really hope the system does not go to waste.

IXC, Norcorp and Aharm will be remaining in and around wormholes, I cannot talk for the other corporations that where part of NOHO, but IXC will be remaining as a wormhole corporation. We look forward to getting back into a hole soon and once again fighting with everyone (including our old alliance members).

I won't say anymore on the matter, but I figured I would state fact before the troll brigade comes along to fill your head with complete codswallop.

Edit: Damnit Sandslinger! Beaten to it! Lol

Quoted from Doc Fury: "Concerned citizens: Doc seldom plays EVE on the weekends during spring and summer, so you will always be on your own for a couple days a week. Doc spends that time collecting kittens for the on-going sacrifices, engaging in reckless outdoor activities, and speaking in the 3rd person."

I am really glad to hear that some of the corps will stick around WH space. The more active pilots we have in w-space, the more our community will continue to grow and keep wormholes as fun and dangerous as ever. It does make me kind of sad to see such a (dare I say) notable entity go by the wayside. It's those big alliances that give w-space a reputation outside of those who live here. But in any case, I hope that the next chapter for you and the other corps is one filed with the tears of carebears and many sacrifices to Bob.

this is so hilariously incorrect that it made even me chuckle.
Basically high class wspace sucks, and has sucked for a while now. NOHO were the last holders on to a sadly outmoded game play style and I assume it finally became more effort than it was worth for them.

PS: also, alliances don't work in wspace ;)

We are becoming a HS mission alliance.

We held a vote for fleet comp - rr, torpedo, armor drakes FTW.

Fitting is pretty tight, only max SP pilots may apply.

NOHO became too big, and they were getting a lot of dead-mass, and also old members who were afk for long time or showing just for pings a lot of people were showing up just for sites etc.. And finally what happened is for a long time they have become so big that there was pretty much no one for them to PVP with inside wormhole space, and a lot of line members pushing PvE and nullsec activities and all that huge numbers combined with ping warriors and huuge lack of content due to blob and not shipping down for gudfites and lack of content creators led to NOHO dying.
There is more reasons to why NOHO died but some reddit posts can explain that better (hint: "leadership")

I know a lot of this stuff from my time in NOHO, and that said NOHO has a bunch of great dudes which should definately stay in w-space even if their corps decide not to.
Also, even if I'd like to see some of them playing with me, or against me in big groups like SSC/HK/LZHX it would be nice to even make a new group or join smaller group of dudes in C5 space, where most of PVP is.

Batphoning nullsec groups is such c5. We batphone and blueball eachother instead.

Edit: on a more serious note. There is a reason c4 static is so amazing. Just check my blog. I posted a pic of a regular chain we have

-1 massive group that couldn't get fights + several small ones = win. Sad news but good news.

Hope they are all back in wspace soon in one form or another murdering people.

As others have said; it's not my place to make statements in the alliance's name but regardless of what IXC, NorCorp and AHARM decide to do; I look forward to seeing you all in space. Now that all assets have been moved we can get focused on our future projects. :D
