Interesting read....but its really just the same old song and dance. Ive never taken any article written about dwindling numbers about any game seriously. There are never hard facts to back anything up.

Its apparent that subjects like this start heated debates....as the writer of that blog has already experienced, and im sure the same will occur here as well.

Destiny always seems decades away, but suddenly it's not decades away; it's right now. But maybe destiny is always right now, right here, right this very instant, maybe.

Where it will sink to never be seen again. What?

As someone who worked on wh40K, which was a truly awful project to work on, I am hardly surprised it seems to hold the record for the fastest dying MMO in history.
GW got through something like 5 development houses with their inability to stick to spec, "project management through chaos" management style, and didn't understand that software projects require time, and MMOs even more so.

"Themepark" "Sandbox", these do not mean what you think they mean, EvE is as on rails as a freight train, and has as many attractions as Disneyland, but soundbites are easy, thinking is not.

What is your opinion on the current state of development in EVE?
