I used to have a POS for research jobs. Now that I no longer have to wait 30 days for a ME slot, and now that I have to pay to use my own damn POS on top of fuel and charters, I don't see the point of having one, currently. The time bonus doesn't even come close to making it worthwhile.

yeah ... not to mention the massive cost of ME etc reseach via POS (and the tiem effort back in the day) ... all for nothing now, especially as there's a 10 max limit ... ugh.

They failed miserably. With the suggested system small entities and single players are discouraged from operating a player structure bigger than a mobile depot. Wow, damn, the entosis link kinda killed it for me just now...I checked out the sovereignty phase 2 and..yeah. A 'capture' module. So we can play CTF with stations, sounds like fun.

Wonder what the chances of us getting defensive AI gun control or drone deployment? lol. Well that sucks.

If they look cool, add fun gameplay, and provide some sort of benefit....sure. Why not? I have heard nothing about how the current iterations are ever since I first started playing so it is something I never bothered with before but always thought could be quite interesting if done correctly.

Yeah, they have said a few times that the code is difficult and they want to remove the force field. To be replaced with an area of invulnerability or something.

Based on the current CCP vision to open POSes for public use for a fee, why the hell you go through hassle to deploy one and babysit it everyday when someone else can do this for you. It's gonna be like POCOs

Lady Areola Fappington:  Solo PVP isn't dead!  You just need to make sure you have your booster, remote rep, cyno, and emergency Falcon alts logged in and ready before you do any solo PVPing.
