Hello friends! question regarding carrier masteries

Are carrier masteries a good way to judge the skills required to use a carrier well?

I know I should have perfect fitting skills and near perfect drone skills. Other than that and obviously the capital tank skills/capital armor/shield transfer. Which skills do you think are Necessary?

Oh and this is regarding using an archon for C5 escalations.

are you going to be primary carrier?

If so you want all your capacitor skills to 5 and any skill that will affect your EHP and repping maxed out as well. Fitting skills only matter until you can fit everything you want to on the carrier.

Other things to consider are advanced target management, nav skills and t2 triage

Yeah I'm looking for the skills to be the primary carrier, at least back up primary carrier. Because we have another solid archon pilot but he's not very active. So I'd like to be able to fill his role when he's not around. Because we have a few good thanny pilots so there's generally at least one of them on.

And from what Ive read, you pretty much want to have an archon or chimera being the primary carrier.

if you use it for escalations, you should have a pretty nice tank. Therefor Archon or Chimera is your first choice.
Triage is for the first wave helpful. in the 2nd wave with a 2nd carrier I recommend spider cap and spider tank.

In Triage you cannot use any Fighters. Less damage equals longer survival of sleeper BS and more damage you have to repair ...

Tank, remote rep and cap, drones...
Jump Fuel and Calibration are not necessary

This might be a dumb question. But I noticed you said you can't use fighters in triage. Can you use normal drones in triage?

You can not use either drones or fighters while in triage.
