What exactly affects blueprint copy speed?

So I know the Science skill increases blueprint copy speed by 5% per level, and there's a few 'Beancounter' Science implants that also confer a bonus. Where I'm confused however, is whether a blueprint with Time Efficiency researched copies faster than one without (or with a lower level) since from what I understand copy speed is based on a percentage of manufacturing time. And would this mean a skill like Advanced Industry also affects copy speed?

Or does Time Efficiency on T1 BPOs not matter for the purpose of creating BPCs for T2 Invention? From what I understand the Material Efficiency doesn't matter, it's the TE I'm not clear on.

Correct me if I'm wrong anywhere.

Just trying to get my feet wet in science and industry and trying to grok it all - there's not really any comprehensive guide out there that's completely up to date, which is where the confusion springs from.

TE refers to the build time only.

Science skill, Implants and where you do the copying (station vs POS vs outpost)

When you select any BPO industry window and select copy then if you hover over "job duration" it will list you how much copy reduction you will get from things that you currently have. But these are reductions that you can use:

SKILLS
Science -5% copy time per level
Advanced industry -3% copy time per level (all industry jobs but includes copy)
TOTAL -36,3% from skills

FACILITIES
Design laboratory -40% copy time
Outpost -20%/-40%/-60% copy time (depends on level and type)

IMPLANTS
Zainou 'Beancounter' Science SC-8xx -1%/-3%/-5% copy time

TE/ME of Tech 1 BPC is not important for Invention.
Copy base time was calculated from Manufacturing base time when BPO was created and then they have their own bonuses applied to that base time. So it could happen that your copy time in specific POS/outpost is longer then manufacturing time.
BPO TE level doesn't affect copy time.

Advanced Industry:
3% reduction in all manufacturing and research times per skill level.

yes, copying too.
