Per topic....just disgusted with the gank in this game for new players...worst of any game I've ever played and I even joined a gank Corp just to survive beyond a day! I've given it two fair chances now in 4 months. You give way too much to vet players vs. new, and expect us "fng's" to bear with it for a year or three. No. I realize CCP has put themselves between a rock and a hard place with this path...perhaps when there are no more FNG's things will improve. Give me a Proteus/Legion/Tengu too and let's see how good you actually are? Derrrrrrrp.

EVE online is one of the most new player friendly games in existence. In EVE you can be in a useful ship that can affect the outcome of a fight within hours of installing. In other games, good luck getting that lvl 99 shadow necromancer to even notice your existence till you grind up to at least lvl 98 (that's if you ever get to see one as at your low beginning level you are probably barred from going where the vet players can).

What's really going on with this poster is that he can't admit that he doesn't have the proper mentality or temperament to play and enjoy EVE Online. Most people don't. But for him, admitting that would be akin to admitting a fault within himself, so in fine 'ego defense mechanism' style it's the game that's somehow bad.

This is actually the saddest part. The ONLY reason to make a post like this is for an attempt to influence future game development policy, and no one would do that unless deep down they knew they were gonna stay. Right now, if he isn't reading this thread, he's sitting in front of a computer trying real hard to not navigate to forum.eveonline.com to see if anyone agrees with him lol.

Absolute rubbish.

Come here from other games where you have done well, where perhaps gear matters more than tactics, and then think you can do exactly the same in EVE. Naturally you'll be disappointed.
I still don't know where all this ganking goes on. I keep hearing about it.

There are MANY people like the OP. This has nothing to do with EVE at all.

Even when it's just hearsay (which I can't tell for the OP of course),
they come and do this. In *every* PvP game!

They're a lower breed of gamers, who whine about things they do not like,
even when it is a clear part of the game.

In this case, though, it's actually not. Nobody is bashing new players.

People are bashing assholes.
