Hi i was wondering about which Best galente blasterboat is best for lvl 4 and with what fit ?. I know blasters aren't ideal for lvl 4 at all, but i like them a lot. I rather make my effort getting into range and melt a bs than snipe afk from 200km and kill it in 5 mins.

The Best is the Kronos, however, since you ask the question I am going to assume you can't fly a marauder.

Well, I like the Hyperion the best, but I haven't really used it solo much before. Basically, get an alt in an oynx/drake/nighthawk to tank the mission and kill the small stuff along with your drones, while you take a shield buffer fit hype and kill everything quickly.

Despite the lower tracking versus the megathron, a hype with 3x TEs and 3X magstabs will have rather good falloff, I could kill frigates at 50km with anitmatter. Remember, tech one ammo is mostly falloff anyway, and TE's boost falloff more than optimal. The hype has 6 lowslots which lets it fit exactly as much as needed. It also has a generous amount of mids, I was fitting 2x hardeners, a web, a cap booster, and an MWD. Along with CFDE rigs this provides a reasonable buffer should you mess one of the triggers up and get aggro on your ship.

Sadly the Rokh does less damage, and except for using null and void, won't really have much more range at all, it will also have worse tracking lacking the low slots for TEs that the hype has, the Mega is almost the same as the hype, but has less of a shield buffer for when things go wrong.

Now if you want to go solo, then the Rokh may be more viable, since it can fit a rather strong shield tank due to it's resist bonus, and still have it's lows available for damage and tracking. The Rokh however has a rather weak capacitor, so I don't see how viable an xl booster tank would be without cap boosters, some people hate cap boosters in PVE I use then on almost all my ships, PVE or PVP.

A solo hype should be able to tank fine with an armor tank due to it's generous bonus, but the DPS generally won't be all that great if you are dedicating your lows to tanking. It has 5 mids, which is also enough to mount a reasonable shield tank if it is depending on cap boosters, but unlike the nonsolo fit, it won't really be able to fit nice things like a web and MWD while still having a reasonable tank.

A solo Mega is decent, the extra tracking is helpful when it doesn't have the lows available to dedicate to TEs, and it has a generous drone bay to supplement it's lack of ability to pull range and hit frigates, however, it is always a battle of lowslots for tank versus gank, lacking a tanking bonus despite having more low slots than the hype it can be a challenge to tank some level IVs and still fit several magstabs. With only 4 midslots I don't see a viable solo shield tank either to free up those lows.

TL;DR: My opinion, the kronos is best, aside from that as a DPS ship in a fleet l4s Hype > Mega > Rokh as a solo ship for l4s Rokh >Hype > Mega

Not considered here: Blaster Domi/Navy Domi/Vindicator/Navy Mega: Never tried out these ships in PVE

I've tried an Astarte since the changes. It's... alright. Get the right mission and it will get completion times in line with other decent mission ships (about the same time in Serp Vengeance as my NH). But it's still nothing to really write home about. Fit looks something like this:

[Astarte, mishin]
Magnetic Field Stabilizer II
Magnetic Field Stabilizer II
Magnetic Field Stabilizer II
Armor Thermic Hardener II
Armor Kinetic Hardener II
Medium Armor Repairer II

Y-T8 Overcharged Hydrocarbon I Microwarpdrive
Stasis Webifier II
Medium Capacitor Booster II, Cap Booster 400
Tracking Computer II, Optimal Range

Heavy Neutron Blaster II, Null M
Heavy Neutron Blaster II, Null M
Heavy Neutron Blaster II, Null M
Heavy Neutron Blaster II, Null M
Heavy Neutron Blaster II, Null M
Heavy Neutron Blaster II, Null M
Heavy Neutron Blaster II, Null M

Medium Hybrid Collision Accelerator II
Medium Capacitor Control Circuit I

Zor and a G2-Delta push it to 1239 m/s and 830 at 6.5+15 or 1042 at 2.6+12 (without drones). I'm still thinking a well-fit Vindicator would eat it alive and a Navy Mega would do better. As for that Rokh... no.

If you want blasters then proteus is what you want. Especially vs. serpentis it tanks everything with ab on + one dead space repper + 1 thermal hardener, leaving you enough room for three mag stabs and two TEs. It also has better speed to fly into range compared to bs and decent dps from cruiser size guns which hit better. I used to do this long time ago before you could use mwd in missions and it worked well enough. Now that you can mwd around in missions it should work even better by gettin into range at good speed.
