I have not had a good game of 40K in about 2 years. I have the new edition but not had the chance to play yet. My poor Blood Angels, Grey Knights and IG are sad.

As for 5th edition, I've picked it up. Was planning a switch from HarnMaster to that as the group wanted a bit more fantasy.

7th edition for 40k is..... Different. But good I think.

Blood angels... I haven't faced or played

Gray knights are still OP

Love the genre, artwork and minis for 40K. Do not have the dollars, time, or patience for an army :/
Plus, there are very few active players in my area.

Yeah its expensive / time exhaustive to maintain a competitive force.

A few years ago my brother in law and I picked up the hobby.. Now we have six of us who play regularly.

I should dust off my 40k stuff. My boy's into it, but I refuse to play him as he's a very poor loser.

Not sure where he gets that from.

I went a bit crazy when I was collecting. My IG army at one point had 6 companies. 3 55 man infantry, 1 tank company with 3 squadrons of 3, Sentinel company with 3 squads of 3, super heavies, 3 troops of ST with valks, arty, and other support. Ended up selling 2 infantry companies and 2 squadrons of tanks.

My BA is a over strength company... I don't know point wise, say 12k or more? The wife would always ask "are you done buying yet" LOL

Sad part is I'll never get back what I put in to it if I sell if off.

One of my coworkers saw this thread, he informed me that last weekend he came home drunk and accidentally knocked his Titan off the table. He had finished painting it earlier that day.

I plan on trying to make it for this.
Gila prepped and ready to burn, should be fun as I've never actually flown one before.
I make no guarantees as to competence or coherence, but fun should be had.

I'm out of town all next weekend. It would be two weeks before I'm available. If that works better though, we could probably get more people before then.
