so today i go throught these wormholes to seek for relic and data sites , first wormhole from my hole was J162159 which has abandoned magnate frig , fitted for hacking data/relics . picked it up and moved to home then came across this wormhole
J120338 free catalyst with salvagers fitted on empty space , on another planet found stratios also unpiloted , took it back to home then started to scan deeper J222045 two unfitted empty herons , scanner/cargo scanner shows notthing on another wormhole spotted fitted free herons which moved to home as they can be used. so was moving on
J163522 venture unpiloted at sun , notthing else so then stopped for while and resumed scanning to find
J105013 some more free frigates but none of them worth to salvage at end scanned this wormhole which gave me this one J125650 after thinking checked moons and dscan ,notthing useful, went back to J162159 and found another c2 which was holding few more free ships to take . after succeful recoveries i dropped two shuttles full of goods in these first two wormholes to thank bob for fruitful day. *

so people sometimes get rolled from their holes , they forgot the entrance location and pos soon loses fuel then free stuff is spread out to bob, right? but here also comes a questions
- why people do leave their ships in space if they have probes on them, they diidnt stuck, they could still jump away
- how much poses decay evryday? how often they are found and what was biggest free ship?
- when people upgrade and move from their holes, they usually leave worthless ships, cant say this about leaving t2 barges on moon, or they does not scoop all structures leaving turrets, ewar structures unanchored they just take vital pos structures.

so you find abandoned ship what you usually do. shoot it or try to salvage?

Magnate, Heron ... nobody cares about, I guess.
There are far bigger finds which go into several billions of loot/km.

Random frigs are not worth moving out if a corp moves out.
Most people blow them up but some just leave them.

Such atrocities. Everyone knows that ships should be abandoned at the sun.

some had sleeper salvage sush blue loot and ribbons one had just t2 salvage materials and other one full of corpses yes magnate 400m3 full of bodies . rest were bait fit hull mods/rigs at this point it was worth time to scan long chains. howewer i agree people when moving out to null or to another wormhole they just simply blow them up or leave. maybe they leave them because of some sort of sentence? what would be good reason to leave ships adrift in space instead of detroying them?

ok. the bob killed my shuttle yesterday second one is awaiting for sacrafice

Despite T3 Cruiser I have no idea why you should not destroy your ship, unless you are Robin Hood or such.

it doesn't happen a lot but when ever i have been caught out or locked out i would just eject and pod express and sacrafice my ship for my sins to bob or who eve finds it, mostly people will whore on a easy KM some will take it and mail the original char a thank you, personal preference tbh or just go suicidal and attack a pos or anyone in the wh

when we get too many newb ships from people moving in and out, I'll open a static and jettison them all in space.

I like to think of it as a brief wtf moment when people hit dscan, and then a couple minutes of fun in bombers.
