Is there any connection between what type static you have vs. how many sites you get? Currently in C2 with C1 and HS static and only get 3 combat sites and 1 ore site a week if we are lucky. Every other WH I visit seems to have loads. Someone said this was due to having a HS static, but i dont think that''s the case.


Should I start looking for a new home, or does this type of thing come in cycles? Been here about 2 months.

afaik it's based on the constellation. So if there is a wormhole that is uninhabited in the same constellation, anomalies and sigs will pile up in that system until they are cleared.

the prevailing theory is that if other anoms despawn somewhere else in the constellation, they randomly spawn in another WH of the same class. So if your C2 is slow, it is generally because people in other C2's aren't running their sites. In general people live in C2's to farm their static, so it isnt uncommon for C2 sites to pool up.

In general it is pretty common that you will have spikes and barren periods.

It's quite normal that the sites in your home system dry out eventually. The ISK is in the statics.

Regarding the constellation thingy: Weren't there some C6 people who seeded an entire C6 constellation with farming alts and disproved that theory?

yes. when your home runs out of sites use your static. c2 hs static + c1 static is not very good type , you should consider c2 with highsec + c3 static or even better with c4 static. as for c4 wormhole best would be with c2 and c4 static this way you can farm them endless.

you can start despawn timers on sites by initiating and cancelling warp on them so if they wont be cleared they will be gone from there and will appear in other wormholes
