Manufacturing Calculators with Shopping List and POS location?

Hey all, two unrelated questions:

I am having trouble finding a good manufacturing calculator that lets me to either build components, or even do reactions to build components, and create a shopping list from multiple jobs that I wish to complete. I found a few things, but they seem way out of date -- anything good out there?

Secondly, do I have any incentive to set up manufacturing POSes outside of highsec. Like, can I see a higher profit by doing so? Is it more convenient in terms of acquiring building materials (i.e. one can mine all the sites in WH space, etc).

Thanks errybody!

Eve ISK per hour has a shopping list function. I have always used it for manufacturing from blueprints, I am not certain it will work for reactions.

The lower the indices for the system, the lower the cost of installing jobs.

There is no profit to be had by gathering your own materials, as that doesn't change their value.

I finally got around to trying IPH out for the shopping cart. Fairly certain I had everything entered correctly, character skills hooked in through api, and after buying everything, a lot of items were off by just a small amount. Soo frustrating. Every calculator is this way, it seems.

It may not have been calculating the benefits of making multiple run jobs properly, in which case the person that made it has some work to do.

The benefit of using a POS (for now) is that you can configure your POS however you want, and POS manufacturing arrays typically give a 2% reduction in materials required. However, POS requires fuel. So you have to run the numbers to see if its cost effective to use POS. Reactions can only be done at a POS. So there is that to consider.

You might want to take a look on this one - https://forums.eveonline.com/default.aspx?g=posts&t=409824

Of course, it is still in "early beta" and a lot of things to be added within the next few months, but it already has pretty accurate calculator (including depending components) and shopping lists of different setups can be merged into a single "I go shopping" list.

If you try it and find some inaccurate calcs, feel free to drop me an evemail/post in relevant thread and we'll sort it out.
