Framerate drops when moving camera when near a gate

can't really fight like this, notice how the cache loading thingy appears as it exits the freeze.

I've got similar issues.

What i also noticed is a loss of 20-30 fps while inside the Jita 4-4 station. Usually it seemed that the amount in people/spam in the open chat window was the main ressource hog there and it was enough to minimize/hide the local for a vast performance improval. Minimizing the local chat doesn't help anymore.

p.s.: I guess I need to correct myself: lost performance everywhere. As long as I keep running in window mode as i always did, no more than 45 fps in a station. 2-3 days ago everything was fine, 60 fps in stations and in space(i use interval one instead of immediate).

Averaged prb. 30-40fps today anywhere (pve missions, stations, etc) on Low Settings. Windows7 64bit dx11 Nvidia 560gtxUgh

edit: window mode.

edit#2: Full Screen a steady 60fps.

I have the same problem with a decrease in fps when approaching the gate . In addition, the Caldari star gates freeze and cause the entire screen I see different colored triangles etc. Sometimes it unlocks and sometimes you have to reset the game. I read that it was a problem with the Vectors.

Everyone with performance issues may want to go into launcher settings, open the "Download" tab on the left and then check the "Download all the resource files" box at the bottom. For me it improved performance significantly.

just sorted out SISI client, and there is no lag there, sisi using same shared cache folder as TQ client. TQ clinet lags like hell, sisi doesnt!

have this issue also on anomalies or in small fights .... , pretty unplayable for me , pls fix this asap :)

your post made me curious so i tested it.. and it indeed looks like it has the old smoothness again on SISI. Thought i get some eve quality time this WE but i have to wait till TQ is uptaded :(

in any case.. nice to see it fixed!

edit: i guess i can't play with the SISI client on tq, right?

how to fix eve: 1) remove ECM 2) rename dampeners to ECM 3) add new anti-drone ewar for caldari 4) give offgrid boosters ongrid combat value

installed the latest nvidia drivers, seems to have fixed it, or maybe they patched it. anyway seems much improved on my end
