Launcher Background Image Missing - RESOLVED

I attempted to re-install the game after uninstalling it following the Scylla patch. I used the installer: EVE_Online_Installer_871784.msi.

After installing the game, I opened the launcher and it looks like this:

The menu is still functional as I can mouse over it and the cursor changes, but I can't see which field I am clicking on or typing in.

I managed to resolve this problem by downloading the launcher directly from url:

http://cdn1.eveonline.com/EveOnlineLauncher/release/EVEOnlineLauncher_2_2_871481.exe
