Greetings from the junk heap (Or: The pile of offline towers littered across wormhole space)

I pose a simple question to my fellow wormhole-dwelling pilots: What do you do about ridding your systems of old, offline towers (especially when you can't just bring Dreadnoughts in to drop the hammer on them)? Or, do you not bother with this "spring cleaning" task? Also, does anyone know how helpful the new Battlecruiser hulls are in this regard?

Destroying abandoned towers is almost always a matter of personal preference. Because sites of interest such as Sleeper and Talocan ruins and wormholes constantly shift in location there's no particular difference in strategic value between the orbit of one moon as compared to another. The moons are apparently bereft of any useful material (very suspicious - I think CONCORD might be tampering with our scan results) so each moon has the same (null) industrial value. The only reason you'd need to bother getting rid of a starbase is if you were running out of moons to deploy one around. You might want to steal some of the modules for yourself, but again, that's personal preference.

I really think CONCORD should just let us claim towers that have been abandoned for a while.
