Directory control tool

I see a need for an out of game "directory control tool" whose functions would permit the following:

a. easily install and maintain a differing [SiSi] eve client in another drive/directory with separate launcher

b. 'move' the cache for selected client to a different drive/directory

c. 'move' the entire selected client to a different drive/directory

d. backup the entire selected client to different media [and later restore it]

e. migrate entire client from networked computer A to networked computer B

I suggest that this tool be download on need but not regularly installed. some cue/interface in the launcher ["advanced" button which calls the required tool and then exits the launcher] desired.

situations this will solve:

A. using test or other server when the clients are different

B. relieve crowding of the original disk/partition caused by EVE saving billions of Gb of data

C. allow players whose drive is dangerously full to easily migrate EVE to a second drive

D. partial of C -- for when a second drive can not physically be installed -- example: running EVE on a laptop -- and thus the sole and only drive must be replaced in the computer.

E. for when a player changes computers completely and wishes to avoid loading his ISP with the Gbs of EVE download [or pays for such downloads by the Gb]

Fairly obviously, one of these would be needed for each operating system supported. [although most of it is dog dirt simple in Unix].

I'm running EVE on my third box atm and am preparing to migrate to a new fourth box. I am not keen on redownloading the client in order to install it in my new computer. That's wasteful, expensive for some, and loses everything EVE has saved in my old computer.
