How to make ISK on a new character

I've recently moved to NPC nullsec and it's a blast. Plenty of ISK-making content including ratting and ultra-lucrative missions, with all the fun of nullsec and none of the freaking politics or grinding. I used to think lowsec was the best it could be, but NPC null is better, if you've got a good group (not too big) to fly with.

Smart mining. If done properly in null sec, it can even give you PLEX worth of money, plenty to supply PvP IMHO. No, I do not mean sitting in belt and waitng to get poped.

Thank you for all the replies. One thing that has been holding me back is that I havent upgraded this account yet, it is still trial. I am going to do that next payday though, which is next week.

What I have done:

1. Completed Career Agents
2. Sisters of EVE epic arc (thanks to the kind GM that pointed me in the right direction)
3. Did level 2 SOE missions in my Cormorant (Destroyer)
4. Looted everything and got lucky with a few faction drops.

I did a few combat sites, but the advice has been pretty spot on that I can make more money with missions.

Currently sitting on just under a 100m ISK. I am going to keep on grinding missions until I upgrade my account from trial, then going to head on over the Faction Warfare and try it out, while making some ISK. When I move to FW I want to have 30 fitted ships so I can reship and jump back in ASAP.

I am right that attacking plexes is more LP's than defending right? I am also more likely to get fights that way?

So you can go to Simela. Keep working for SOE to get ISK one day and make a jump clone so you can jump back to Nourvukaiken the next day.

Yes. No (fights opportunities are not about kind of PLEX, it is about where you plex; Tama is secure way to lose your ship in 20 seconds).

you can also do research and invention and manufacture and pi also trading all these things to do don't take much time to do , skills wise not a clue on how long they all take to level up I am still doing mine .
now I am starting to see the rewards starting to stockpile ships and modules to which I am making all me own ready for the move to 0.0 just have to pick a place to base myself.
so really as ShahFluffers said can make isk doing anything I just like the idea make all me own so don't need help there just with the pvp side and me ceo is good at that.

so takes ShahFluffers advice what ever you do you earn isk I would suggest make all your own that way can earn while you go do what ever you want beauty is them things don't take long to do also ironic the players you killing sell them the ships and modules back to them

Hi everyone.

I know you must see this alot, but I am a returning player. Due to my psycho ex wife I cant return using my old account, so I have created a new one (currently on a trial account)

Last time I had just started to get into pvp, but was mostly running missions. This time around I want to avoid missions if I can.

I was wondering what other profitable activities there is that I can use to bankroll my new account as I head towards pvp. If possible I would like to avoid mining and mission running.

What other ways are there? I enjoy the combat aspect of things, and was hoping there was something along those lines.

How is Combat Anomalies? Combat sites (through exploration)?

I know FW is an option, but I really dont want to try that out without at least some basic support skills.

Unless you are into acquiring isk for the sake of isk, then all you really need is enough isk to replace any eventual losses. Back in the day, I financed my pvp by doing ded sites. Then I moved on to ganking haulers going into a lowsec pocket. Now, I usually just live off my kills, since I cant really stand to do any pve, be it missioning, mining, etc. . .

I don't play, I just fourm warrior.

Best way to make ISK... buy PLEX and sell it. Then take ownership of a constellation and charge rent. If CFC, PL and NC. can carebear YOU CAN TOO!!

Not all PVP involves starship combat.

Give scamming a go.

One scam that works remarkably well for starters is to go into a mission hub (Osmon will probably work best), go suspect in a cheap ship that looks like you are a clueless newb (cruiser with mixed guns, or something like that), and then get killed. Lose your pod too.

Then come back into a trade hub, and post the lossmail link with a whinge like "Help, I'm new and some mongrel ganked me".

Most people will mock you, and some will offer advice. Ignore those people. A few will give you things. Just keep accepting these donations, and keep repeating the ruse. When people start calling you out *quickly* in the first trade hub, move to another trade hub or another mission hub.

Once you have a couple hundred million behind you from the begging scam, you can then start looking into other scams to make your first billion.

or you know just fit up a normal pvp ship go pvping and join some combat related channels (and/or trade hubs) link your kills/losses and say how much you love it and want to do more. And/or ask for advice, might get some good advice and isk.

There are other uses for ISK than just replacing losses.

Paying people to do silly things is one.
