World's Collide Victorieux Luxury Yacht?

So as a further note and to clarify what I understand and hopefully solve everyone's issue's that later posted on this thread.

- The yacht went to the winning server(Tranquility) and not just to the winning team on that server

- Anyone who was subscribed on their account at the time of the event will be eligible to receive the yacht

- Anyone who subbed after they realized that we had won the event or found out after the event that the yacht was a prize will not get the yacht, or shouldn't at least

- The market value of the yacht will probably be low for a bit, also the yacht will probably be a prime target for most people to hit as people know there is only one per account, this way they can reduce numbers of the yacht on the server and increase its value on the market. This being said don't put the yacht on the market right away if you intend to sell it, its value will double in 1-2 weeks, assuming most people are following the belief I stated which seems most probable

You what? I thought the big USP of EvE, was it was a single server?

"Themepark" "Sandbox", these do not mean what you think they mean, EvE is as on rails as a freight train, and has as many attractions as Disneyland, but soundbites are easy, thinking is not.

This thing needs Customs Navy cargoscan immunity --- Make it so that Boosters aren't detectable.

On a side note: Do Customs see through cloaks? No matter how fast the ship is, I always get fined in high-sec systems just as the jump animation is about to finish. X

One problem with this: cloak re-activation delay. Not much fun entering a gatecamp, trying to warp off and still stuck in the delay :-)

The Astero had the same issue when it came out, and was later fixed by halfing it (30s > 15s).

It's bubble protected, and has a fast enough align speed to hopefully avoid anything wanting to have a go of it, so it'll be really hard to catch this bugger, I would imagine.

It is. Except for China because of legal stuffs. China has to have it's own server (Serenity). Worlds Collide was the first time players from the main server (Tranquility) and Serenity had ever gone against each other.

Hint: Deactivate your cloak as soon as you're in warp. Hold your jump cloak for a few seconds. You should be able to instantly recloak most of the time

Devs, I would like to know something on this.

Now in your updates post, you stated every active account would receive one of these yachts. However, I logged in, and found a bpc, to which cost us minerals, and time to make. I expected to have a ship, not have to build one.

Feel free to sell the BPC, or even donate it.

No one is forcing you to build that ship.

FYI, CCP never said it would be in the form of a built ship.

Been around since the beginning.

One would read this as since the yacht has been released, it would be a ship. Not hey, let's play build a ship.

I would put it up on contracts, but maybe it will sit in my collections container for the next 5 years. Already seen one up and built for 250 million ISK.

Second, by donation, you mean send it to you so you can have another one? Do I look generous to you?

Nullified, cloaky, capable of <2s align, battlecruiser HP and some of you are complaining about it not having sufficient bonuses? That combination is completely insane and should not exist on any single ship. I'm considering doing laps of null with (multiple) PLEX in my hold, maybe the first this weekend.

Yes, quite right, there are work arounds for this issue.

However, why is it every time a new covert ops ship comes out, do we have to do this, until the devs realise, yet again, that all it achieves is a few surprised kills, until players realise that they have to slow down their travel, until it gets fixed (again) and they can then fly ships in a way that works with the fast warp and acceleration speeds.

Fitting a ferrari with an anchor is not exactly good design, unless the vehicle has a need to balance combat abilities with risk.
And this like any "Ferrari" is not exactly overpowered in that way is it?

So reducing recloak delay to 15 seconds is a valid and reasonable request.

As it happens, I am an excellent ship builder. Contract that BP over to me and I can have it built in an hour or so at much less material cost than if you did it.

All I'll charge you for the service is my low build cost plus a 5% surcharge.
