After much wait since his infamous Star Wars prequels reviews, Mr. Plinkett comes back to rap... make non-consensual in-depth love to yet another George Lucas creation: Mr. Plinkett’s Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull Review.

The Serial Killer Stuff is not funny. His reviews are hilarious but he milks the creepy crap to much.

Awww :*( I actually like that from him. But yeah even I must admit it's not everybody's cup of tea, but I got Immune after working in a Psychiatric Hospital and having been splashed with blood from people's wounds during severe mental breakdowns and some of the female inmates actually jumping at me wanting to literally eat me twice, and no, I'm not trolling you. Fun times, I actually recall that year internship and 1 year volunteer work with fondness.

But yeah, I learned to laugh off it, that and the vodka everyday at lunch and dinner helped.

Hmmm. I think it was the vodka really X

Merry Xmas!!!! Weeee!!!!

I personally enjoy it and find it funny, as low-brow and over-the-top as it may be, but I can appreciate what you say. Interestingly, on this review he lampshades his own over-reliance on these same gimmicks over and over again, pointing a finger directly at it (while making a point about the Indiana Jones series). But after all, those are (some) of the traits that define the Mr. Plinkett persona, and what many people would expect to see when coming back for more of his reviews.

I also enjoy his Half in the Bag series, which does away with the Serial Killer stuff, but some (many?) people dislike these, and make sure to keep posting comments expressing their demands for more Plinkett and less Half in the Bag. But well... you can't please everyone all of the time.

I think the Serial Killer stuff - along with all the other humour - help balance the Plinkett reviews from becoming too serious and cerebral. And he sure likes to over-analyze and obsess about many things in his reviews - which is also something I enjoy a lot - so to the Yin of his insights, serious points and commentary, he pours a crap-load of Yang nihilistic sewage and retardation on top. I like it that way, I'm from the internet.

No don't get me wrong I love when there are subtle hints to it. When it became confirmed that is when I started to dislike it. I enjoyed it more when he danced around the issue but once it was in my face it got old. He likes to torture people... yawn back to the reveiw.

In fact I just found this today. Fake Blog entries from someone pretending to be Pinkie Pie from Cupcake.

It was funny because that was what it was about. I love finding Dark Humor like this.

Plinkett is about reviews but he created to much of a second storyline. He should have stayed in his wheelhouse, funny reviews and left the Serial Killer Stuff to comments and hints. Side Gags should stick to the sideline.

Just my opinion though.

I wasn't familiar with the source material (both the Cupcakes fan-fiction it's based on, and the original stuff), so I missed some specific references, but I just read through the three pages of entries and found it brilliant. Kudos, good find.

Reminds me and brings fond memories of certain comic books / stories I've read: before the internets devoured a lot of the good printed publications out there, we used to have a few monthly magazines I grew up reading that collected underground / adult comics from authors all over the world, very diverse in style and scope, and that blog resonated with some of that.
