Quick question about plexing rewards

So I am trying to understand how plexing rewards work. I know that if you d-plex a system, the system gains certain benefits depending on what level it is at.

What I am confused about is how it affects the rewards for offensive plexing, if at all? Do the LP rewards get better the more upgraded systems you have?

Offensive : Plex LP * Tier Multiplier
Defensive: Offensive * 0.7 * %contested

The tier that I'm plexing in? Then why would I ever want raise a tier if it helps offensive plexing get better lp?

You are getting your system upgrades mixed up with your warzone tiers.

your tier, not the enemy tier. and tier is different that system upgrade level.

Not quite. System Upgrades come from donating LP to the iHub, not d-plexing.

However, once a system is upgraded by LP donation the enemy can degrade that upgrade by completing offensive plex in the upgraded system. Hence, defenders must continue to donate LP in order to maintain System Upgrades.

Offensive plex rewards are not changed directly by System Upgrade level. However, as more Systems with high Upgrades are maintained by a Faction, the Warzone Control % (LP Tier) of that Faction will increase.
