highsec 50% base yield not giving me max refine at 72.4%, only 69.6%

on this chat ccp put in the devblog says im supposed to be getting 72.4% http://cdn1.eveonline.com/www/newssystem/media/65852/1/Reprocessingrates.png

I have the 4% implant, perfect standings, and refining 5, refining efficiency 5 and the ore skill at 5 yet im only getting 69.6%?

Science and Trade Institute 7.46 (Connections 5 raises your effective standing from 6.82) (Excellent)
and perfect standing for refining is 6.67

i've looked around and apparently you cannot get perfect reprocessing. i think it has something to do with compression of ore vs the weight of minerals and transportation cost differences or something close to that. so you have to look at the ore you mine as being "free" and eat the loss or sell the ore and buy the minerals.

Are you looking at the tables for the NPC stations or the outposts?

Since the cessation of their usefulness is imminent, may I appropriate your belongings?

Are you looking at the tables for the NPC stations or the outposts?

thoes are npc stations, as i said look at the image it shows 50% outpost gets 53%, 57% and 60%

You are getting 72.4%, it's just a display bug. You can check easily, just refine 10,000 Veldspar. You should get 30,046 Tritanium at 72.4% yield.

the window isn't including the implant in the math. the actual results however do include the implant. The ui fix was supposed to be out in hyperion.

I just wanted to make sure. When we don't start from step 1 of the problem solving tree, we usually find out it was something simple after 10 pages of rabble.

Now, are you sure you have the correct implant in, and are in the correct clone? You said you have the 4% implant, but which one?

i actually got 30,222 trit from refining 10,000 regular veldspar and i made sure it was not a named version as well

For 100 batches, with a base of 415 per batch, you are getting 72.824%

I think max would be 31,200 for 100 batches, with a base of 415 per batch.


That would be refining in a highsec pos, he's doing it in a station.

Which is actually a bit higher than I'd expect for a hisec station.

Who else but you bears in thia thread care about you half a percentage ore reprocess rate lol. I just killed a freaking carrier today in Brave dude, what percentage does the scrap reprocess to of that?

I hope ore prices sink with new patches ans you all lose losers.
