Scylla patch, eve will not start.

After the new patch from today,
cache was patching + all updates.

Launch eve. Says launching, Nothing happens.
Deleted cache files
Used repair tool after update.


Not working, Reinstalling it now, will post a update.



EDIT : PROBLEM SOLVED

CCP snorlax adviced me in his first post on this thread to run the RESCACHE.EXE file in the EVE INSTALLATION folder. Double click it hit enter and it will do everything automatically.

Well it surprised me and it worked flawless, it has removed 16 corrupted files , and deleted them automatically.

Thanks to Snorlax :) Game is running!

same here
exefile.exe*32 appears in task manager using 25%CPU and 67588K memory
nothing appears on screen
tried with "download all the resource files" option both checked and unchecked, and launching eve in safe mode, same result

I have reinstalled the game, still the same problem, i hit launch and eve won't start up.

It doesnt give any message error or log file too.

It's indeed showing a exe file in task manager. Process shows CCP exeFile (32-bit) CPU 14% memory 75.1mb stable

i run the launcher in administrator mode

I can't even reinstall it. The client spazzes out before I can actually start the download Sad.

It's the same problem in the steam client as in the non-steam version.

I tryed to change all launcher settings too Download cache, etc etc

I tried updating the game client. The update happened, Game cache was created. When I launched the game next using the launcher, it said the "Client is ready" on the bottom left of the Launcher, but game does not start.

For me, the launcher keeps twitching between "Installing files" and "Downloading installer updates". On the rare occasions that it doesnt do that, it loads with "Installing files", that goes to full, and then the launcher closes.

I had this problem but was able to open the game using the steam launcher.

I had a similar problem: I made a completely new installment of EVE. I uninstalled and deleted all old EVE files, then downloaded the ~100MB installer from the website, installed it, started teh launcher, clicked "download everything" in settings and then nothing happened. I tried to restart the lauchner, but it wouldnt start again. I had to terminate 2 launcher.exe processes manually. Now the launcher works again and is downloading 7.65GB.

If newbies have this problem, it could be an obstacle for them.

EDIT: The laucher has downloaded 100%, but not its frozen ... This whole DoD feature is not working smoothly.

i wrote in the other thread already having the same problem.

try starting a repair and then start the game with exefile.exe, worked for me. the repair seemed to have patched the game.

launcher ist still not working for me though.

for the above: My game does not work. Start up launcher is working, repair tool is working, loggin in is working. No visual on game, Its running in my processes. But the game won't startup, Nothing happens when press launch, while launchers telling me it is launching.

For the Steam client, and the non-steam client.

Download all FIles' Does not matter it was never been on for me before... it didnt work in the first place, so i turned it on, and it still not work.


It's CCP's turn now.

Yup, same problem.

For me repair tool doesn't work either, nor does adding it to Steam
