I found Thera by accident this EVEning, scanning for abandoned drones in FW Low-Sec. I nearly missed the WH on my overview & only decided to check it's info out of habit. I had heard of the system but had never visited it. I was surprised to find the Sisters stations inside had all the amenities of those found in k-space, even a small but functional market. I was even more surprised to note the clone services, and the ability to make Thera your home system (being an explorer I couldn't resist and I subsequently did). Given the amount of signatures and WH connections present in the system, is Thera a nod toward where CCP expects to take the way space is implemented within the game?

Hi there!

Thera is a very unique system, and has more regular connections than any other system. The system has 8 static holes (2 highsec, 3 lowsec, 3 nullsec) and often has between 5-15 wandering holes that can lead to any kind of space. This, plus the NPC stations and a few unique rules (no anchorable bubbles, for instance) make Thera a different living experience than anywhere else. CCP has not specifically stated that more systems like Thera will be introduced, but they did make a point to say that the idea isn't out of the question.

For an updated list of current connections to Thera, visit www.eve-scout.com. If you join the in game channel "Eve Scout" you can ask for help getting in and out of Thera or for conditions on the undocks.

Thera is pretty cool I guess if you like being able to access almost any of the content in the game from a single base I guess.

The leadership of Eve Scout stays in Thera pretty much 24/7. The member base of Signal Cartel (our explorer corp) is always in flux as none of us really like being in one place too long. So there is a chance you might not be able to get one of us if you ask for help, but that's a small chance.

Toss me a mail if you've got any other questions about life in Thera. If I can't answer, I'll point you to someone who can.

Now, to keep this on topic, I absolutely love Thera and very much hope more systems like it are added.
