I'm trying to apply this method.
It seems to work better for the moment.

The game is reacting way faster and I had no crash on alt-tab.

Did this on a MacPro (late 2013) with two clients. described on page 4 of this thread.
How are your experiences regarding running multiple windowed clients? It wasn't a
success on my machine.

Tiamat definitively made the base CCP-client less stable for me, so I'm really curious
for your results.

I have been running 2-3 clients using the wine method without major issues. Obviously, if your video card isn't awesome, you will have to downgrade the quality.

That being said, the Sisi version of EVE runs *much* better, on my mac. The team has definitely worked on performance/stability issues, and kudos to them. I encourage everyone who can to give it a whirl and give more feedback to CCP (I sometimes feel like I'm the only mac user during the mass tests, there must be others lurking around, right? ;)

I have had huge success getting Eve to run under Yosemite using Winebottler:

I used the development version because it specifies Yosemite support. It's easy to download and install Winebottler:

1. Downlo...... ts out there!

I followed the steps above and I managed to install the client without issues (except the one is in the end of the steps).

Now, once the client was launched I fought with the resolution of the windows game. It was almost impossible to do, as everytime that I tried to move the client windows to my HP Pavilion 23xi, the window inside the hangar station was showed all colour 'yellow'... until I decided to manipulated the optimization of the game features to 'memory' and everything was changed to low settings.

Once there I tried to play but is impossible. See when I was in space I wasn't able to select any of the options that comes in the UI menu to that shows the planets, gates, stations, etc. Even when I tried to fix my chat windows (corp, intel, alliance) and placed them in the right position, the client was bouncing the windows from one corner to another corner in the screen...

Anyways, I decided to called it for tonight but my specs are:
OS X Yosemite 10.10.2
MacBook Pro (Retina, 15-Inch, Mid 2014)
Processor: 2.2 Ghz Intel Core i7
16GB Memory DDR3
Intel Iris Pro 1536MB
Sharing External monitor: HP Pavilion 23xi.

I'll try to record the desktop screen later and I'll upload on here.

Good to hear! Let us hope it stays that way.

I'm not sure if this is a Mac 10.10 issue so I'll ask here. For a while my chat log files haven't been updating. The timing is about right for when I upgraded to 10.10 but I wasn't paying attention until i had to go back for some info and found no new logs since a particular day.

I'm getting mixed answers from a petition and bug report, and I am trying to follow their guidance on submitting information but wanted to ask in here as well.

Thanks.

I upgraded to OS X 10.10.3 today and am experiencing the following anomalies with the EVE client: The launcher initially displays as "Offline". A re-launch returns either a blank (white) window or a status of "Unknown" (you can manually enter your character and password, and the client launches most of the time). I tried the latest SiSi build and it is completely f**ked (see my separate writeup in the Test Server Feedback Forum). I couldn't get it to run at all.

Addendum: As of this morning, the Tranquility EVE client is no longer experiencing launcher anomalies (there was some indication on Reddit that this may have been DDoS-related). The issues with the SiSi EVE client also seem to have been resolved, and I had no problems running either this morning. For those of us running OS X 10.10.3 this will come as welcome relief! Kudos dev!

I am currently away, traveling through time and will be returning last week.
