Yes. Seriously. It's as good a name as any other in the game, and some numbskull with nothing better to do than to open a thread crying about it sure has generated a lot of bandwidth suckage. Before I take anyone seriously who has a problem with this name, I want to know what idiotic thing you've named your dog, or your cat - or your kid. Even then, the Great Digital God once again moans against the weight of the wasted bandwidth.

I'm with the caldari militia and I can't think how our enemies will take us seriously when a bounch off Jackoffs I mean Jackdaw's show up.. I can see them Galantians laughing there ass off that is for sure.

We need something better CCP. Shrike works.. others names have some interesting feel to them.. But jackdaw sorry that is an insult to us.

I want a bird of prey that puts the fear into our enemies CCP! Change the name ok.

As a Gallente, IMHO, it should be named Strix. Because Caldari.

Jackdaw should have been a Crow variant, since it's in the crow family, and they both should have been used for Blackbird/Falcon. Because Crows are pretty smart, and ECM is kinda techy and clever. Also, Crows are annoying. They have annoying caws and I've watched them follow eagles around and scream at them. ECM is also annoying. Perfect fit. Crow/Jackdaw/Rook instead of Blackbird/Falcon/Rook.

Then Falcon should have been used for the interceptor, because the fastest bird in the world is the Peregrine Falcon. Falcon/Swift/Snipe for interceptors.

Sort your birds out, CCP.

I agree what a terrible name. How about the 'Corvus'. At least that's scientific. Even 'Turkey' would be more graceful.

If Iceland has an app to help you avoid hooking up with a cousin, then I'm pretty sure the term 'kracka" would be inoffensively redundant in Iceland.
