I for one, welcome our new wormhole overlord.

As corbexx was on the official CFC ballot and backed by my several accounts and countless thousands of others of CFC members, we insured that a "wormhole" canidate was on the CSM. Now wormholers will get the benifits of having a wormhole canidate on the CSM without having to endure the skulldraggery politics of the whole situation. It's really a win-win for the wormhole community.

ya it probably will work out for the best ultimately but oh the feels! the feels!

this would only be richer if someone had evicted noho and then he joined goons 8D

Corbexx does a lot with the Brave Newbies in wormhole space. He is still a wormholer, he will just have a different tagon his main.
This is as much a suprise to most of NoHo as well...

I don't particularly see the issue here, the guy still has a character in wormholes and will remain working on wormholes, its just his main character will be in Goons. This wouldn't be half as bad if he had defected from IXC to say somewhere like Lazerhawks, rather than goons.

I feel a bit miffed (as I am sure others in NoHo probably will) that we weren't told, but at the end of the day, it's his choice and he is a damned workhorse on the CSM. He will have a lot of PR to do here, A LOT, but if he sticks at the wormhole and remains CSM to the wormhole community, whats the issue, he's still in them with Brave.

Edit: Yeah, this ******* stings, but at the end of the day, still a Wormholer just under a different tag...

Quoted from Doc Fury: "Concerned citizens: Doc seldom plays EVE on the weekends during spring and summer, so you will always be on your own for a couple days a week. Doc spends that time collecting kittens for the on-going sacrifices, engaging in reckless outdoor activities, and speaking in the 3rd person."

Goons new attempt to be relevant in w-space? Will NoHo members follow and the GF coalition go with them?

Before today you were all falling over each other to commend Corbexx for being such a knowledgeable, effective, hard working CSM. Now just because his alliance tag is changing you fall over each other to demand his head on a silver plate.

Every time you post a WiS thread, Hilmar strangles a kitten.

to all TWOHO people chiming in here, I can respect your want to support your mate but there is really only one person from your band of comrades that we want to hear from at this time.

In the end you ran on a wormhole platform and got a lot of votes because of that, knowing you were leaving and as some mentioned even had your name on a CFC ballot while other potential pure wormholes candidates did exist and perhaps deserved a shot without the CFC influence taking the cake.

I am confused and conflicted.

On one hand, evicting the WH alts of nullbears and hating on goons is a favourite hobby of wormholers. On the other hand, I am totally gay for corbexx. Wat do?

He got elected as a representative of this community and then joined a group that stands for all the things wormholers hate.
Of course people are pissed.
He really should have made his intentions public before the election. Doing it afterwards is just asking for a shitstorm.

Oh I am fairly certain (100% sure) some people in "TWOHO" (NoHome would be better, missed opportunity there) are incredibly pissed off with this move.

It's just you're fretting over the fact he's moving his main to Goons, when his alt will remain in a wormhole corp. Where does it matter where his main is if he's still representing our community...

Stop fooling yourself.. your heart belongs where you keep your main. Representing wormhole space and running for CSM then joining a nullsec alliance is no matter what you say a **** move and a disrespect to all the voters and to the wh community.

We dont want Corbexx, a goonswarm federation member to represent wormhole space and esp not considering this has been a plan for a long time and he has not revealed it untill now after the vote.. it is again, a sh*t move.

God you guys are special if you think him moving to Goonswarm is going to make him work less as a member of the CSM... Its pretty obvious no matter what he says, you guys are going to form a lynch mob anyway...

You honestly dont get the principal problem here? We are not forming a "lynch mob" and it's pretty silly of you to drop that one just because we are trying to make it clear that this is not ok. I am pretty certain there are several people in NOGO too that dont think this is nearly ok...

Just to confirm, NoHome was the new agreed alliance ticket at the wormhole round table.

We thank HK fit their valiant attempt at improving it, but I think we can all agree that NoHome is a much better version.

Difference is, you haven't waited to hear what he has to say, instead you have come straight to the forums stating this is bullshit and you want him out yada yada yada. You're not making it clear its not okay, you're demanding **** before he has had his chance to reply.
For all I know he could turn round and say "middle finger to you *******" but I doubt that he is going to throw away all year of hard work like this. Wormholes are his forte, there isn't a chance in hell he is going to give up on them. And to be entirely honest, hes done more for wormholes in this past year than any of us. The sheer amount of data hes mined and the amount of crap he's pestered CCP about...

Yes, it stings. Yes it feels like a swift kick in the bollocks. But most of NoHo have said "fair enough", "Goodbye".

I won't say anymore as it's late here and I'm sure corbexx will have a lot to do both PR wise and CSM wise. The dudes still a wormholer even if he isn't wearing wormhole colours. Night night Smile
