I Wish to donate my prizes ships to the 2 PHOONs pilots

If any CCP Staff happen to read this or if anybody can poke them to this thread,

I Wish to give my "World's Collide" prizes ships ( I have 2 accounts so I should end up with 2 ships) to the 2 Fleet Phoon pilots from the 1st match of "World's Collide. I feel they deserve them for having BALLS OF STEEL for HULL TANKING them ships. And winning.


So if anybody from CCP can get make this happen, I would be very thankful.

Yup. Bold play to start the first match of a tourney with hull tanked ships. It doesn't get much cooler than that, to be honest.

According to CCP, the reward ship will NEVER, EVER exist on the server that loses the tournament, so god luck with that.

What CCP Means is that the Victorieux Luxury Yacht might never be on the server that looses, but the Victoriux Luxury Yacht might. Maybe in a few years when people have forgotten, maybe as some part of a "secret" reward program for people doing nice things to others.. who knows

I feel like they deserve something better than earplugs at least...and if someone wants to give them their yachts then by all means, let them.

Really though you give earplugs to the losing team that is the best/worst troll I've ever heard.

If we organize a donation drive, maybe CCP can rename the donated ships from Victory Yacht to Valiant Yacht and present them, at least to the team that fought in the tournament. It would be a pretty awesome gesture.

A nice gesture, yes.

I'm going be a bit of a **** here, though. Both teams knew what they were playing for. All...or nothing.

I feel it would be disingenuous of CCP to suddenly decide that a nice consolation prize is in order. It sets a bad precedent for future tournaments. They need to hold fast and stay impartial in this.

If you wanted to donate directly without CCP facilitation, that would be nice. But you can't. So leave it at 'it's the thought that counts' and send them happy thoughts or something.

No the ship should never be given over to the other server. Stop being attention whores by saying you want to give them your ships.

If that's how you look at it, then both teams played for nothing. The losing team gets nothing, and the winning team gets a ship that's worth almost nothing because everyone on the server has one.

You may argue that it's a bad idea because it rewards the losing team, though. The team that lost gets a few rare ships that will sell for a fortune on their server, and the team that won gets common, reprocess-value ships. Not fair to the winners.

Maybe for the next tournament CCP sets it up so the participating teams can exchange ship skins much like the post-match jersey exchanges that happen in RL sports events. So each team gets ships that have unique skins compared to the rest of their server.

Definitely. The losers should get a server full of worthless ships, while the winners get to make offers to Entity.
