The emerging pattern in my case seems to be after multiple refreshes I can get to the page to add to cart, but actually adding the book causes the server to act like it's too good to talk to me anymore. Is my money no good?

Why couldn't they have just had pre-orders for the last week. Wouldve been so much better.

It took me 40 minutes to get to the checkout button, then I got force-logged out. Then another 9 minutes to do it all over again. So keep trying.

Complaining about not being able to get it in the cart apparently prompted that to go through, so I guess I should complain about checking out now?

after an hour of trying at mid night, I'm gonna quite now. Really, this site gave me some really horrible experiences. It reminded me the time back in China trying to grab a train ticket during spring festival.

Thanks, I did check into that. Unfortunately they are a wholesaler. So unless you're running a business, you can't purchase through them directly. :(

In my attempts to mock the server I seem to have enraged it. Now I'm logged out and unable to log back in. Not sure how to appease it and get back in its good graces. Does it accept ritual sacrifices? I can find goats if need be.
