Looking for some Guidance, Lvl 1-4 Mission progression

So I'm looking to get into missions as the wait times for incursions are starting to annoy me, I've never really done extensive missions before. But I'm looking for someone to give me some guidance, on some ships and which faction would be good for me based on my skills.

So I have perfect projectile skills and gunnery support skills across the board, can also use 2 small hybrids. My drone skills are poor but they are currently training. Don't have access to HACs But I can fly the loki.

So what I'm looking for is a ship for the 1-3 grind, and since I have a somewhat blinged Machariel already that will probably be my ship for the lvl 4's. So that considered which faction would be the best?

The Machariel would certainly be my recommendation for blitzing L3s to get your standings up to L4s (an Orthrus or Tengu will also work well). Once you get to L4s, there's a short list of ships that maximize missions: the aforementioned Machariel, Rattlesnake, Raven Navy Issue, Golem and Brashest. In terms of which Faction, all of the ships listed will work for any as they have variable damage types for the most part.

I am currently away, traveling through time and will be returning last week.

I agree with the above, fit your mach a bit differently though: warpspeed and falloff

Alright thanks, I've been doing some reading and thinking about what I want do for the 1-2 grind. Maybe use a svipul for the 1's and 2's since I've got one of those laying around Somewhere I'm sure. I'll just use that until I can get into the Mach for the 3's and 4's. Thanks for your feedback.

Svipul is probably a great choice. If you can, train your Social to IV or V. That will improve your standing gains quicker.

something with range that can blap things quickly, so yeah an arty svipul running around in sharpshooter mode will do the job nicely.

I use a mach for all my grinding.. lvl1 - lvl3.. I then switch to a marauder. There is only 1 -2 missions that you can't get a bs in to in the whole lvl1-3 grind. Cynable also works great.
For missions like recon fast frigs work well.. just remember to be a little tanky for 1/3 of recon.. cruiser is a safer option.
As you using projectiles start in minmatar space. Amarr is also good but TD'ing can be a pain in one or two missions. Avoid caldari space in a projectile boat unless you absolutely have to.

You may want to look at doing data missions to help boost standings.. DMC has The Plan for repairing standings, but can be used for boosting them also.

Svipul is a beast. Maxed out the ship can easily do up to L3 missions. If you bling it out, it can possibly do some L4s.

Having said that, if I am just grinding mission standings so I can do L4s for a npc corp; I just use a drone ship so I don't have to pay for ammo. Worm works great.

Could someone recommend a svipul fit? Or should I just go with like:

if u run missions

basic rule, the lower the ss of the system the agent is located the better the payout

skills u want

Social - 5% improved standings gains for all missions with NPC corporations.
Connections - 4% effective standings increase for NPC corporations that CONCORD likes and that you have positive standings with.
Security Connection - Improves loyalty point gain by 10% per level when working for agents in the Security corporation division.
Negotiation - Increases ISK rewards offered by mission agents

and with a mach u can fly missions pretty much everywhere, u have ammo for every resistance hole except kin and there is therm the secondary damage type.

If you have a friend who has the standings already you can split mission reward in fleet from lvl4s and grind the standings faster.

I helped a guy get SOE standings couple years ago without any thought of being compensated, but he insisted on giving me 10 nemesis' although I had to go to jita to get them. (He had a BPO I guess, wish he'd given me thatLol )

While you are still contemplating the corporation you will choose, be mindful of its size. The smaller the corporation (found in its attributes) the faster you rise in standings.

LP conversion can be a large part of your overall mission income
Empire Navy stores are fairly bad due to the competition from FW stores
popular Corps like SOE are watched over by jihadi's on a regular basis
spend some time researching store offers and relevant market trends
