Possible to check the contents of a POCO remotely?

I would like to check if I have extra materials in the POCO for transfer down to a launchpad on a factory planet.

I guess I'll have to maintain a spreadsheet of what's stored in the POCO if I can't check it from another system.

iirc you can only check it in space in the same system, you can be anywhere in system and can even be cloaked whilst doing it.

making a spreadsheet of whats in your poco wont help you because you cant even launch to and fro without being in the same system.....but you can build up your entire colony and change it as much as you like from any where in the galaxy.

True, but it will let me know if I just need to jump to the factory system and transfer materials, or if I need to haul more mats to the POCO.

Note to self, try to build factory's in my home system in the future.

is your production cycle so erratic you dont know when you have to add more?
just estimate how much you use per day, and calculate for how many full days of production you can fill up your launchpads/storage facilities, and then refill them after a certain number of days.
my cycle is 3 days to refill, then 3 more days to get manufactured commodities and refill again. rinse and repeat. I wish launchpads or storage had a liiiiitle more space, so I had exactly 1 week production cycle... well, one can only wish.
