OVERHAUL PHASE 1 COMPLETE!!!

The first part of my overhaul is complete. With this overhaul, I'm also changing how I manage permissions. Each purchaser will receive access to a folder with my master copy in it, but WILL NOT be able to edit the sheet. You must make a copy of this for your own use. When a change is made, a notification will be sent to your gmail. Just open the folder and copy the new version. This will help keep everyone up-to-date.

These 6 spreadsheets are ready to go:
•Tech 1 Ships
•Tech 1 Ammo
•Tech 1 Drones
•Tech 1 Rigs
•Advanced Market Trading
•Compression Calc (GoogleDocs-manual optimization)

A LOT of new features have been added to these sheets (mostly the industry ones). The price is NOT INCREASING. Prices can be found on the 1st post in this thread. Adv. Market Trading is being reduced from 200 to 150M, and the basic version has been discontinued.

The new features on the manufacturing sheets are:
1) Full instructions on a new tab.
2) All general inputs have been moved to a new Setup tab.
3) Setup tabs include areas to input:
•Custom price that overrides market price for each item.
•Ability to specify the system that market data comes from.
•Inputs for trading skills and reputation to calculate sales tax.
4) Unified Blueprint Data tab, sectioned off based on type of item.
•Enter ME & TE of each blueprint here.
5) Market Comparison tab
•Type in system names to pull prices from.
•Select price type for each system.
•Sheet used build cost from Blueprint Data tab to calculate profit
•Profit includes sales tax (based on skills&reputation)
•Calculates profit and margin at each location
•Displays where cheapest materials are, and where to sell to earn the highest profit
•Calculates average daily sales volume (over the past 14 days).
•"Force Refresh" button will tell the sheet to refresh the imported market data.
6) Production Planner tab:
•Select a blueprint dropdown lists (up to 50).
•Enter number of runs.
•Tab will calculate total build cost, total profit, profit margin, total market price, and build time.
•Tab shows materials required to make each item.
•Calculates total materials required to for all blueprints selected.
•Calculates total material cost, total profit and material volume.
•Input current stocks and sheet will calculate remainder, and cost to purchase the remainder.

The look and feel of these new sheets is excellent, great work Nolen. You may remember I had issues with the other sheets, hopefully these new ones will negate those issues. Ill give them a try over the course of the week.

Do you have an ETA on when the T2 Ships sheet will be ready?

The new T1 ship spreadsheet design is glorious, Nolan has wowed me yet again. I now eagerly await updates to the other sheets I have purchased from him.

Nolan I have a question about your discount. is the 10% feedback discount replacing your past discount program, or is it in addition to the other discounts?

The 10% feedback rebate is in addition to my previous discount. It only applies to new purchases. Everyone who purchased in the past and is now using the Overhauled sheets will get 50M after posting feedback. This is because I don't want to comb through ~1.5 years of records to find out how much each client has spent.

Tomorrow I'll be working on Polymer Reactions, followed by MoonGoo/Reactions which I'll have done Friday evening. The Moon Goo sheet will be getting a POS chain planner to help you plan out how many POS's you need to run certain reaction chains. I'll be starting on T2 ships on saturday morning and will have it complete by the end of the weekend.

Loving these new sheets, the new functionality like which hub is the best to buy from or sell at is awesome. I look forward to digging in and using these now.

Nolen a quesiton on the LP spreadsheet, If i select 1 NPC corp to have a spreadsheet for does it calculate what the best item to buy with your alloted LP. I am thinking with a view to selling LP items at a hub.

The LP sheet does not do that for you, but I will consider adding it when I update that sheet (tomorrow).

I spent this evening going through and making a few additions to the Tech 1 manufacturing sheets. I've had some good feedback and have changed them up a bit.

You can now enter ME and TE on the Production Planner tabs independently from the Blueprint Data tab. This lets you play around with # of runs, ME and TE on that tab, while using the Production Planner tab to do all the actual work you need to get your manufacturing lines running.

OVERHAUL PHASE 2 COMPLETE

I just completed overhauling the "Moon Goo & Reactions" sheet. A LOT of new features were added. Most importantly, this sheet can now be used as a Reaction Chain Planner, and has been renamed to that. You can input multiple POS's (with multiple harvesters/reactors in each). The sheet calculates total revenue, fuel cost, material production, material consumption and even tells you what to import based on the reactions you're running.

This completes Overhaul Phase 2. Below is the list of what's next on my agenda:

Phase 3: Capital Ships.
Phase 4: T2 Production (T2 ships, ammo and rigs & JF).
Phase 5: T3 Production (including the new destroyers).

Eve-MarketData.com is currently down. Because of this, most of my overhauled spreadsheets are throwing errors because they used to pull system ID and region ID's from EMD. I've gone through and fixed all of them, but this does require that you manually enter the system names, system ID's and Region ID's. There's a link on the instructions tab to a system lookup. You can enter the systems you want, the sheet will pull up system ID and region ID. Then just copy and paste the data into your sheet.

As for overhaul progress. I was out of town all last week for another training session for work...ugh...I'm starting on the Capital Ship s sheet now. Next up will be T2 production, followed by T3.

I'll also be looping around because one of my wonderful clients asked for a feature that I really like and have decided to add to my PI sheet. API colony importing. This feature lets you enter your api information, then the sheet will pull in all your PI data. You can see what you're producing, the rate at which you're producing, and even when your cycles will end!


I've also added a new payment method. I now accept 3rd parties. Bradford Clear has agreed to act as a 3rd party for my service. He will be charging 50M per transaction. For transactions of 500M or more, I will cover the fee. If you wish to use this method, contact me and we'll get it all set up.

The Capital Ships sheet has been overhauled. I'll be uploading screenshots soon. I've been slowed down considerably by RL and trying to get an Excel-based, automated compression calc working. It's giving me issues using ALL ore types at once. I'm tossing around the idea to only use ores that can be mined in HighSec. That would make the calculation considerably easier.

I just bought several (more) of Nolan's sheets (T1 rigs/ammo/drones if anyone cares) now that he updated them. I have to say, they are incredibly straightforward to use, and put tons of great information at my fingertips. Nolan is the only guys I trust for my spreadsheets.

OVERHAUL PHASE 3 COMPLETE

The Capital Ships sheet is finally complete. Took a while to get things working how I liked. Then I kept having more ideas for more changes. Here's the screenshots: Capital Ships Pic. Those that purchased it already should have received an email with the new version. If you didn't, let me know.

The price was previously reduced to 500M for ALL capital ships. It will not be changing. The sheet also comes with the GDocs version of the compression calc.

The Excel version of the Ore Compression Calc is still in the works. I'm working on getting the automated solver working perfectly. It currently works as long as you don't mind having extra minerals at your destination. I'm adding in the ability to limit the surplus. This requires the solver to do a lot more work and has run me into some bugs. I'll post it as soon as I can.

T2 Ships is next up on my list.
