Ok I know scamming is not against the rules but I would just like to make future corps aware of this corp thief by getting his name indexed in google.

james saagh scammed about 20 members of Brave Collective offering a carrier courier service from GE- to HED. After 7 hours and many lies later he dropped himself from Brave Operations - Lollipop Division. He was a member for a total of 3 months.

It would also seem he's done these sorts of shenanigans in the past:

I see words.. I see link.. what I don't see is proof.

How dare you tarnish the good name of a fellow capsuleer without presenting proof of your allegations!

For shame!

I submit to the C&P court the following alternate theory of the events in question, backed by an equal amount of proof as that which was provided by the OP:

James was a hard working alt. He busted his ass for his new corp/alliance for three months. When the call to move stations was made by the leadership, the ever eager James decided to press his new carrier into service for the corp. James was immeadiately overwhelmed by the sheer number of contracts thrown at him. He did his best to please everyone, putting even his own lovelife and bodily functions aside in favor of staying at the keyboard to move other peoples assets for free. After several days of fielding non stop email after email of 'WHY ISNT MY STUFF HERE YET JAMES?!?!?' and 'WHERE IS MY STUFF JAMES? I MADE THAT CONTRACT OVER TEN MINUTES AGO JAMES!!!", he understandably began to wear down.

He was sleep deprived, smelled of soiled clothing, and was suffering from malnutrition. Soon his poor jump fatigue timer was somewhere near 283 days, and James desperately called out to the corp "Please! Let me rest for a moment. I could use some sleep, or at very least I need to catch my breath!". Taking this as a sign of laziness, more people joined in the deluge of mails, and also began dogpiling on him in corp and alliance chats. "Where is my stuff James?" "Where is my stuff James?" "WHERES MY STUFF JAMES?!!??".

Poor James became delirious. His only rest was during downtime, but even then, unbeknownst to James, someone in corp had handed out his cellphone number, and the poor man's phone was blown up constantly with texts and harassing phone calls. Finally, James had been pushed to his breaking point. After days of nonstop, thankless unpaid manual labor, James finally accepted the last of his contracts, and quit the corp. He promptly logged off, showered, ate 5 pepperoni Hotpockets and 2 32oz lemon lime Gatorades, and then slept for 2 days.

Do these sound like the actions of a corp thief, or simply those of a man whos selfless nature was egregiously taken advantage of by indolent slave driving coworkers? I beg the jury to drop all charges against James, and condemn the OP for his slanderous allegations!

Since the cessation of their usefulness is imminent, may I appropriate your belongings?

Hey ho.

James Saagh scammed me too. We were evacuating GE- and he offered to transport some of my ships with the rigs and insurance intact. I should have known better, greed really bit me in the ass there. Just wanted to save some ISK buying the rigs and re-insuring again.

Just so we have some proof besides who typed what, I did take some screenshots while we were trading:

Here is the log of the trade going through in my wallet.

I won't lie, it's quite a bummer, he seemed really sincere about helping out a "newbro", but here I am regardless.

I don't see green check marks showing acceptance from either party on that trade, and all your wallet shows is that 'something' was traded.

For all we know, you traded him a single trit, and are trying to frame him for millions!

Show us a completed contract, an accepted trade, SOMETHING CONCRETE.

I'd also like to point out that that trade had no offered isk for services rendered. You have not proven your case, but in fact have inadvertently backed up mine!

Hi friends!

Just got made aware of this thread and figured I should pop in and say hello!

First order of business: I hereby state my request for Unsuccessful At Everything as my attorney.

Secondly, my story: It all begun when I saw the redditposts about the evac from GE-, and I thought to myself "Hey, I got an alt in Hero - I could totally help out of the goodness of my heart" so I decided to log this alt on and get to work.

I simply stated in alliancechat, during a few hours time, that I had two carriers (not a lie, just not on this character) that I was willing to help people out with.
Now some people (newbros) were quick with trading me their hardly earned t1 frigates.
Others were hesitant with their doctrine-Eagles and rattingships, but was made sure that I intended to take VERY good care of their ships (not a lie, I AM taking well care of them).
Others just promptly opened a tradewindow and dragged all their assets in without even convoing me, something even the strictest judge in space must consider a donation.
There was even a few who googled this: https://forums.eveonline.com/default.aspx?g=posts&m=5592586, asked about it, then promptly traded me their ships anyway.

Not once during the whole day did someone back out of a conversation/trade and never did I click accept on the trades first.

It wasn't until I had around 16m m3 in ships and over 2000 modules (from undercollateralized contracts I wanted to help with, again out of pure goodwill) that I realized that I'm such a fool! My carriers aren't on this account! They are not even in the coalition!

So you see where this is going right? Obviously I was in quite a pickle. Here I was sitting with more assets than a medium-sized corp could move within a week in a 2m sp character who couldn't dream of flying most of it. This stress, combined with the (by Unsuccessful At Everything aforementioned) insane nagging I was subjected to only minutes after accepting some peoples trades naturally made me quite upset.

I was upset, and I needed to make myself better - afterall, looking out for our mental health is very important - when I realized something: I could just sell all the assets and use the ISK to buy me fun toys! Surely that would make everything well again, right?!

Which is why we're in this predicament now.

But, given that this IS Crime&Punishment I feel like there are still issues to bring up, namely The Russian Hitmans behaviour.

I have it on good authority that when he realized his assets had been donated to the greater good he tried to contact my former corp in their recruitmentchannel to solve it. Now, it's important to know that it wouldn't have mattered which corp I was in and that I dropped corp before anyone got too antsy with suspicion.

While in said recruitmentchannel, The Russian Hitman acted so obnoxious that not only did the members in aforementioned corp get very annoyed with him - fellow pilots who had donated ships to me ALSO told him to shut up after awhile. All this over what was around 30m ISK in total, that he had volountarily given me.

The whole thing ended with him getting kicked & banned from said channel.
(And I got the logs to back it all up!)

Make of this what you will, Jury, but as I see it the villain is still haunting the halls of Brave, and his name is The Russian Hitman.

Volunteering for jury duty...

After due consideration of all the non-evidence presented in this thread, juror number 1 concludes that the defendant is not guilty of the charge of being a corp thief. Non-evidence has been clearly presented that members of Brave Newbies voluntarily and without solicitation, and indeed of their own initiative and free will, did hand over their possessions to the defendant in a manner not consistent with alliance-level best practices for movement of personal assets, and therefore are not entitled to any form of reimbursement or compensation.

Furthermore, due tot the foolhardy nature in which some members neglected to even attempt to make proper arrangements with the defendant, the defendant's actions in now way constitute theft, and that therefore the defendant should not be subject to any form of punishment or retribution.

I, juror number 1, do summarily submit my conclusion to the jury foreman for consideration for presentation to the judiciary.
