I don't know about other people, but I have a few set goals for why I station trade. I think having those goals helps me push through the more boring aspects of trading and keep up with it. For me, I want to buy a 100 + mil sp character since I've never had a toon that's gotten higher than 20 mil. It's also very nice to be able to afford to make mistakes and get blown up from time to time.

So what do you plan to do with your riches made from trading?

I have no idea. I have a few income streams and can't think of anything meaningful to use the money on. I end up buying ships I don't need and foisting money on new players who don't really need it either. The rest just gets ploughed into making more money.

Hopefully I'll find inspiration too!

Hit a quarter trillion, then use it to burn stuff.

Like really, really burn a lot of stuff.

If I ever hit a trillion, my goal will be to utterly destroy a trade hub (Hek or Rens) - to create an alternative hub, buy up large amounts of fairly priced goods from the existing hub, move them to the new one and resell at a markup, and then pay mercs to burn everyone that comes into the existing hub.

Why? Because it sounds fun.

i like to make more isk with my isk. As far as long-term goals go, I'd like to reopen TAUTX, host dependable lotteries, and I would like to donate large sums to player events and things like plex for good.

I'd like to have so much ISK so I can afford to hire half of EVE players to fight the other half and enjoy the show :) Kinda like Sabriz.
Will anyone reach quadrillion ISK in our lifetime? I don't know, but I intend to find out, I am 28, I hope I'll be able to play the game for another 50 years Big smile

If I put aside the impossible goals, I'd like to be able to subscribe for those 50 years and still have enough ISK left. That's 50x12 = 600 PLEX or 480 000 000 000 ISK - about half a trillion at current prices. Seems like an achievable thing.

Back in Q4 2010 the QEN reported 445T in the game in total and in Q1 2014 Dr Eyjo reported 600T in the game in total. But these figures are liquid isk and do not address assets. Has anyone seen any better or more recent figures?

I'd expect that we are still closing down on 1000T in game in total now, somewhere in the region of 700T? We're probably going to see 1000T in total near EVE's 20 year anniversary. Then, of course, it's only a matter of time before one person holds that much.

Given that the richest in game are obscenely rich, I'd not be surprised to find that someone already has that in NAV. If not, I don't think it's going to take another 50 years for someone to get there.

Short term goal is to turn 15b into 50b by June. It won't be easy, but I think it's possible.

A few :
1 would like to fly all amarr ships perfectly (sub cap mostly caps next)
2 Skill to use all subcap weapons perfectly (lasers rockets drones etc etc)
3 Fly rest of the ships sub caps perfectly or 9/10 (almost)

I like amarr - khanid combination and theyre ships so thats a nice RP goal .
I would like to have lots of ships sort of collections : starting with amarr sansha caldari ---> rest .

My estimate of the total assets is ten to fifteen quadrillion at present value. This was an estimate based on the 2013 GDP figures.

I know a few T2 BPO Holders that had over a trillion in assets; can't say if they are worth that now with the changes and such and have been out of that game for a long while now...

I know I am not near a trillion isk; but to be fair I have used time cards for years now on 7-12 accounts; and tend to throw away isk at stupid stuff. I could hit 200bil liquid fairly quick; much more than that I would be hard pressed.

My short to medium term goal is to make as much isk as possible through many different ways. But the overall goal is simply to be able to buy anything I want without thinking if I can afford it.

to have enough ISK to consistently PvP without worry of ever running out of money for ships, And to fund all my accounts on PLEX (Already do the 2nd part) and of course never have to mission run again
