Excuse me if this has been asked/answered before, but the new search functions don't always give a result.

Signed up for the Closed Beta and noticed one of the questions was "Do you subscribe/have a PSN Plus account."

We are not going to need to subscribe to ANOTHER service are we?
I can tell you now I am not paying Sony any amount of money for the crappy network they have, even if it is for my beloved EVE.

Looking forward to participating in Dust, but will not happen if I need to sub PSN+.

PSN plus as a service usually offers early access to betas (The marketing kind I'd wager, which the Dust beta isn't thankfully) and discounts on games.
I guess for the Dust beta a PSN plus account might be needed but I've no doubt that the actual game won't need PSN plus.

I kind of hope they do, because no one would use it and then maybe CCP will just give up and worry about eve Roll

Yeah, as much of an Eve/Dust fanboi as I am, even I wouldn't sub to PSN+ in order to get access to Dust. And I must say, pretty ****** move by CCP and Sony if we have to be members in order to even get access to the beta.
