Why less? Are you creating courier contracts to gank the couriers? You must be, since that's the only reason I can think of to complain about it being too much time. You want to pressure couriers into delivering "now" (while your ambush is set up) instead of "later" while you're off doing your Dora the Explorer dailies, perhaps?

We must accommodate the idiocracy.

If you need something moved on that tight of a schedule, you're better off moving it yourself, to be honest.

Tbh if in that much of a hurry, escort a friend while he hauls or move it yourself with or without a neutral hauler alt.
People picking short contracts aren't going to think "this guys WH could collapse soon"
Its more like "how many tornadoes does he have waiting for such a short contract"

That's why I was asking.

come now, you know we don't have "friends" in eve, just merely acquaintances waiting to kill you and take all you own given the chance. This is a game of bad guys after all.

Train a hauling alt on the same account and use to move stuff yourself.
Hell you can even take this opportunity and train him to pi as well.

Gotta hand it to the OP. It's a valiant effort. I doubt it'll fly, but it took brass to throw it in the air! Big smile

I would have thought that someone who represented 'Lords of the Universe' wouldn't be needing a courier service.

Seems like a lord would have something like that done 'in house' instead of subbing it out.

Makes you want to wonder... if these guys are really 'Lords of the Universe'.

Since the cessation of their usefulness is imminent, may I appropriate your belongings?

I put up a lot of courier contracts. Seriously...a lot of them. Like 50 a day.

As it is now, at least one fails each day with an entire 24hrs to move stuff between three and nine jumps. And 75% of those fails are from letting the time expire, not ganks.

I can only imagine the chaos if what the OP wants ever comes to pass. Not that anyone would be dumb enough to accept a six hour contract without being paid an exceptional premium over the usual rates. Even then, all the OP would be doing most of the time is watching his contracts rot as no one accepts them.

To sum up, I can think of a hundred things more urgent for the coders to be working on than this.

A courier contract that expires doesn't automatically fail, it's you who fails it.

Yup. And since I put a collateral of at least double the value on them, it actually works out in my favor to fail them. Just last night I had one expire. 1.1b worth of stuff that I put a collateral of 2b on. For that kind of profit I have no problem going out and buying the stuff again and making a new contract.

Use the hauler channel and offer to pay a bonus for delivery within 2 hours, and you can usually get it moved quickly.
