In the next release I would like to see propulsion modules grouped by size, like it's done with most other modules that come in different sizes (neuts, shield extenders, smartbombs...).

Workarounds are not bugfixes.

Probably the best 3rd party software for EvE. Helps pass the hours by at work when it's quiet theory crafting

The top of the character edit window slipped under top of EFT main window and I can't move itt, any help?

nm, solved by moving main eft window around and resizing..

Is it possible to acquire old versions of EFT? Im especially interested in files from the Crucible and Inferno release.

Were there any thoughts around making fits searchable? The fit browser is too ship focused and having to go through the menu to open the collapsed ship tree makes it impossible just to browse all the fits I may have. For example, I'd like to browse all the fits that I could use for L3 missions. It seems like once I create a fit and close it, I'd have to remember which ship I made it for and then go find that exact ship in the subcategories just to pull up the fit again.

If there is already a way to browse just my fits, I apologize. Maybe somebody could point me the way.

[BUG REPORT]

If you had EFT open on a second monitor but are no longer plugged into that monitor. When you open EFT it appears off the screen and doesn't reset to the current screen size. This can be fixed by manually editing the config.ini and adjusting the Main_X variable but EFT should check max screen width on open and adjust accordingly.

Add Please select the protocol and host name. Such as implemented in the program EVEMon.

You can do so by opening Show Info window about any rig, right-clicking Calibration and selecting Show on Fitting Panel option.

Crucible 1.6 - EFT2.14.8
Inferno 1.2 - EFT2.16

Read FAQ.txt or error message after unsuccessful connection for information on how to configure proxy setting. Not sure what you mean by protocol selection as only protocol used is http/https.

I'm on a PC laptop using Windows 8.1; my previous laptop was also PC, but using Win...7, I think.

Since installing EFT on the new laptop, whenever I update EFT, my previously stored fittings are no longer accessible. IS there a way to prevent this from happening, please?

The fittings are stored in the respective files in the Setups folder. You could save them before you install the new version.

i got issue with EFT 2.28 cpu for some turrets is broken. Im looking at small focused pulse laser II cpu is highier in game than in EFT. In previous version the artillery small gun's cpu was broken too. Can you have a look at this plz ?
Is the source code open ? i wish to have a look :) (feel free to PM me)

It's answered in the FAQ.txt, but, no, it isn't open source and he doesn't plan on it ever being so.

I love this tool.
But the Expanded Cargohold II Velocity Modifier is different than EFT's Speed rating.
EFT's Module Info says the Speed is -10% and the Attributes Velocity Modifier says it's -18%.

That's an 80% difference....

no it's not? 16 CPU both ingame and EFT

I just updated to v2.28, and some of my modules are not appearing in the Module list.

For example, when I click on Turrets & Bays/Hybrid Turrets/Blaster/Smalls, the Name window below, which usually has a list of all the items under that directory, is empty.

How can I fix this?
