Hi Mates...

So.. the Tengu's electronics subsystem provides an ECM bonus on RANGE?

The other factions get to make full use of their EWAR specialties... ala Minmatar and a web bonus .... Gallente scram/disruptor bonus... and Amarrian neutralizer amount ... but the poor Tengu only gets a ECM range bonus?

Everyone knows that ECM, without a bonus, is weak as hell, unreliable, and virtually useless. Instead of a range bonus for the Tengu's electronics sub (which in my mind isn't really needed, as ECM already has a decent range), it needs ECM jam STRENGTH, instead. I think that is is a fair move because, as I have stated... the other 3 races gets the best and most sensible bonus for their EWAR specialities .

I think it also makes sense to do it now, since CCP has introduced modules to mitigate the risk of being jammed by ECM.

In short.. I'd like to see CCP change the Tengu electronic sub from ECM range to ECM strength. Thank you and have a pleasant tomorrow.

Which modules would these be ?
I'm genuinely interested now.

I suppose the concern would be , why bother falcon when you can jamgu,
as it stands I would rather legion than pilgrim or curse

There is an offensive sub called *rifling launcher pattern*, that one enhances your ecm strength. Bear in mind that 40km regular optimal on ECM mods is crap all and makes your jamming attempt rather futile unless you're REALLY close. That aside, in w-space tengus commonly run eccm-sub instead of EWAR range, just anticipating counterjamming.

A tengu is not a replacement for an actual jamming ship as they got crap all for ewar strength. But it's by far the sturdiest hull you can mount ecm mods on and still get some bonus to it. For example:

I stand corrected.. I forgot about that sub! LOL.. I was thinking about a good ambush ship.. was looking for covert ops+ecm but can't have both with the Tengu. LOL.. Thanks guys!
