They are going to continue ignoring you because it doesn't matter what you think.

It is literally impossible to have both pc and ps3 playing against eachother in a fps while still being fair. Thus it would have to be limited to consoles only. And for those who don't know why xbox isn't in on it, it is probably rooted in the fact that microsoft does not allow any connections to servers not strictly controlled by themselves, thus interaction with eve is not a possibility, or other ps3 consoles for that matter. The other reason is it is a Playstation sponsered game now.

But i would really like to know what they mean by English speaking countries?
Because there are ALOT of countries where english may not be the native language, but is a mandatory class since 3rd grade.

Don't have anything against "toys" but it's still a console game - I'll pass.

Me, along with probably everyone else, has been dying for an EVE based fps game. I'm not buying a PS3 for it though. Putting it on PS3 only and nothing for PC at all is a kick in the face.. I can understand wanting to branch out and make more isk (iceland's currency...), but not giving it to us PC players is downright insulting.

So wait, I've read that it's also supposed to be released for PS VIta, but nobody seems to have any details beyond that. Can CCP reveal anything further about Dust on PSV?I think I'd like to play the game, but I'd rather get the handheld than the console. In fact, if I wasn't already interested in the PSV I might've ended up purchasing it just to play Dust.

Hey CCP next time just don't let me sign up if I'm not eligible.

But what that exactly means... UK only or what Question

IMO it should also mean the Netherlands because I doubt we’re getting a localised version and virtually everybody here that’s 18+ speaks English fine anyway. The Dutch play EVE Online right in English :).

Is Dust exclusively available for Playstation Plus members?? <-- terrible idea. The market for the game is already small enough being ONLY on ONE console, limiting it to some BS subscription service (that is run by Sony Roll) is an even worse idea.

Of course not, that would be without precedent and just plain stupid.

So the account management site just went into maintenance, i guess its to clear up what ever is unclear about those regional restrictions (you better remove them all together!!)

It could be that early entry to beta is a "perk" for google plus members, would make sense.

This, guys. It’s simple and logical. Blame Microsoft for having restrictive XBL policies. Blame the world for having a larger console games market than PC games.

If you really want to play it, a PS3 is only like €200 right now (seen on tweakers.net pricewatch) and has a lot of other nice games on it too, so y’know, maybe a reason to get one ;p. If it’s got games like Dust 514 on it, maybe a worthy game system after all? :)

Agreed. When I first heard about this console only concept, I knew two things: the decision was linked to money (needed to continue and finish the project), and that I wouldn't be playing the game (because a shooter not available on a PC is a bad idea.)

Shocked -- What? -- Lol

Inviting your customers to a private party: sweet.
Forget to warn them that there will be a silly entry requirement: funny.
End up telling half your customers to tough up for living in the wrong countries: priceless.

I was trying to think of an appropriate comment, but no need.

The restriction has been changed and is now
"The DUST 514 private trials will be available only to residents of North America or the European Union / EEA, and all trials will be conducted in English. "

thank you CCP :)
