None of the above, I find that Female Avatars tend to slip into Uncanny Valley territory rather easily and of all the times I have tried to create females this is the only one I ended up keeping.

Well since i have no luck in gambling of any sort.....i never random pick my toons in any game. I also didnt use any of the op's options either. I just simply start fresh and add any bit of originality that i can. Its worked well for me for years.

Destiny always seems decades away, but suddenly it's not decades away; it's right now. But maybe destiny is always right now, right here, right this very instant, maybe.

I had a look at my wife, made my 2nd avatar (this one) like her and be happy with it. She was a bit irritated at first but filed it under "my_weird_husband" and were ok with it.
My other female avatar is a copy of my sister. My reasoning for both were that I like to have a female character that I like to look at and since I am a male (main is male) I thought my best shot would be to copy females I like.

I already had a character before, but I wanted to see how this would go; It was more of an art thing and "I wonder how I can make this look"? than anything.

I just try and go for a pleasing image without any preconceived idea as to what I want it to look like when it's finished. This one turned out looking fairly young but I'm really pleased with it as you don't see many younger looking avatars.

Freya is my feminine side. She's rough around the edges, like me. She's a bit broken, like me. She's quiet and thrives in solitude, like me. She lets me embrace my feminine in a masculine way. And I'd much rather have her face looking back at me than an accurate recreation of my own face.

As a white male, mid 20s: I have always idealized Asian women, I think. As a result I tend to create Asian women when I can. In actual practice, it actually seems to be that white women are more my speed. I think the idealization of Asian women is because of their relative scarcity in the US, at least where I live... Apparently most Asians live in like "China Town" type places around here.

Whenever I saw a father with a lot of daughters, and no sons, I'd offer to trade my only son for just one of his daughters.

When I originally made the toon I tried to make it look as amusing as possible. Tried to make a dumbfounded look as easy as possible to recognize. Now I change it on a daily basis to irritate my CEO.

I have lost track of what I was doing.
