I'm assuming it means english speakers only, because literally it would mean European Union countries where english is the official language, so pretty much only people from Britain, Ireland and Malta could apply for the beta.

Is Dust exclusively available for Playstation Plus members?? <-- terrible idea. The market for the game is already small enough being ONLY on ONE console, limiting it to some BS subscription service (that is run by Sony Roll) is an even worse idea.

Can't wait to dual box my Dust toon and EVE toon on the same machine!

Its most likely that the first test server will be in London CCP's main server farm. While all english speakers can apply only the ones they can see are close enough to the servers are needed for the first part of the test. While it would be nice to see what the latance from Australia will do to the game play lets start with baby steps Cool

Finally a use for my old phat PS3 outside of MAG and GT5... I think PSN Plus as a requirement for the initial closed beta isn't to bad of a requirement but I've been a member of it since it launched so I'm probably biased and wanting a use for it.

In regard to English as a requirement the game is a closed beta and is probably heavy on voice comms and they want max testing of the capabilities since it's likely squad/team based and well if you can't understand the others in your squad it me be limiting on the play testing
