I really like The empyrean age and i cant wait for this book, but what makes me post in the forum, is the news about Tony
G leaving CCP.

I think this is a big mistake by CCP .Tony and his novel brougth me to EVE and the whole hystory behind that expansion is thanx to Tony , this unless he decide to quit, but he mention he got laid off.

So CCP i say it again this is a Big mistake, almost as incarna was, he work for 8 years developing this IP and you guys just let him go ? X i really confuse right now Ugh

sorry for the english not first language

Any chance of getting the EVE books as eBooks? either in Kindle or another flexable format?

The more time goes on the harder I find it to read books in dead tree format, I'd always prefer the ease of carrying around my Kindle.

[Edit]

My bad, looks like Empyrean Age and Burning Life are available on Amazon for Kindle, just not Templar One.

So long, and thanks for all the fish, Tony.

Your work was, is and will always be appreciated by the lore lovers among us.

When your book hit my mom's nightstand (she's 65, and never played EVE), and she avidly read it cover-to-cover in a single week time, I realized your work was actual literature, not just EVE ads or fluff.

Your statement about "the most underutilized force in EVE" is sooooooooooo true.

I'll buy the book for sure.

I can't believe this, I was so excited as I started to read this blog only to be disappointed to learn that the man who has expanded our world gets the chop. I've never disagreed with the course you as a company have made but this is an outrage. He has given us the background that EVE very much lacks. I hope that all of you reading this who love the lore of New Eden will not remain silent.

Stand and be heard, we want Tony back!

as another person who was brought into this game by empyrean age and kept in it by depth of the lore i have to say i'm sad to see tony go, seems really crazy to let go of someone who has put so much into the game.

ah well best of luck with your next endeavour Tony

"I was amongst the casualties of the recent difficult times CCP endured"

WHAT? Rehire this guy immediately CCP!

Looking forward to the book but damn, you can't fire TonyG CCP. That's like ... no, he's awesome.

Im very much looking forward to Templar One, I hope that is will be available as an eBook and that its success will propel TonyG on to even better things.

Its sad and disappointing to hear that TonyG is being let go by CCP. Yet another douchebag move by a company that simply doesn't understand its customers or what they want from the EVE IP.

Way to go CCP - keep those epicfail hits coming. Roll

Are you sure it's going to be available on January 3rd? It's been delayed so many times already...

Yes, at least in the US. Amazon in the US says they'll have it at my door on Jan 3.

I cannot read as I am illiterate. The only thing I know how to do is point my wii-mote at my computer and play eve with it.

make sure you guys do some sweet advertising in play-station home or something. get the crowd of people that would never read an eve online dev blog.

I'm really sorry you of all people got fired : ( That's really uncool.

I've been waiting for this book since EA came out! Thanks for making it happen Tony, all your stuff has been a pleasure to read!

I'm kinda shocked that you were one of the people let go but I guess it makes sense given the new focus. It doesn't mean I have to like it though. Evil

Either way you've made a fan out of me, I look forward to reading any of your stuff in the future.

Waiting still for it on amazon >*:( meh, also very sad to see TonyG go, despite all the flaws, he had a way , quirky but catching, of portraying the eve universe. Ill miss him dearly, only writer worth my money to buy eve novels.

I don't usually reply to dev blogs, but when I do, I do it so I can protest a big mistake, like laying off one of the driving forces behind Eve Lore, TonyG. Bad move CCP, get him back and running ASAP.
