Out of Game Events and Gatherings

Last year TDSIN opened up our annual BBQ to all of New Eden, hoping that we could get a couple more people to come and swap eve stories while playing some games and eating some food.

Averaging 10-15 in attendance the previous couple years we expected to get some extras and hopefully get into the 20s or even 30s. 86 People showed up. With such outstanding attendance, and the great time we had it wasnt even 3 months before planning for the next years started.

A quick tl;dr is below in case a whole website is overwhelming

When: August 6th - August 9th

After listening to feedback from last year we decided to push the whole event out a day to make it more appealing for those of you traveling farther. Check in will begin at 1500 Thursday, and the event wraps up and finishes Sunday morning so that everyone can travel home. Thursday night will not have any major events so those of you that may be arriving very late Thursday (or early Friday morning :P)

Where: Same great place as last time! The barn has been cleaned out to allow for even more nerds in a barn, and we have moved the campsite to a much larger field. The exact address is given upon purchasing a ticket, but for your planning purposes it is in Gilmanton, NH. Hangar space has been increased to hold everyones ships.

Other bits: The event takes place on a farm, as such there is no hotel on site. The majority of attendees slept in tents or their cars, some even out under the stars. If camping does not appeal to you there are inns not too far away, I am working no getting a list of them, and trying to get some discounts for you so keep your eyes peeled. The price has also increased over last year, but please keep in mind we added an entire day, and are striving to improve the quality of everything we can offer :)

Driving hours from my new place because it was the best weekend of my summer.

Seriously. If you live within 21,000 km of NH -- you should totally come to this.

As long as your dogs play nice with strangers, and potentially other dogs you are more than welcome to bring them. The farm does have animals on it though, including some chickens so please make sure you keep an eye on them. I do not want to have to tell our host that hes lost anything haha.

Never played Warhammer, but im sure youll find some takers, and if you dont mind teaching ill toss some dice.
