Hello friends!

I am probably being very silly, but i could not find my answer so easily :(,

i have a second account via steam. this has an auto login which is a great feature :)

However i am looking to login to eve website with my account so i may use the many features such as API's and eve gates, how is this possible?

I must admit it is very anoying that i can cannot use that account without using steam. I have many games on steam but i get CD keys or codes i can use to claim accounts. EvE is the only mmo with full integration and its very annoying! I would love if i could disconnect my account from steam!

I find it's pretty decent for most things. It just happens that EVE isn't one of those things.

The other 50 or 60 triple A games I have installed on it hum along just fine. They are consolidated, allow modding where applicable and auto-patch. Pretty darn convenient, really.

Steam is great, for any game other then EVE.

Sure, some games are really really overpriced, but then again, don't go for triple A titles on release dayP and buy them later in any sale or something and you are fine.

I have a Steam, Username & password. Every Steam account should have one.
I use this for logging into EVE online account (also the game), same with all my online games with Steam. Username can also be your "email address" thats linked to your Steam account.

I can even access the game without using the launcher

The exefile to launch EVE is still available to Steam clients. Mine is in the Folder named "Bin"

Location:

Drive C:
Program Files (x86)
Steam - File folder
SteamApps - File folder
Common - File folder
EVE online - File folder
bin - File folder
exefile - Application P

I'm using Windows 8.1 (64-bit)
