Drones Showing Damage Upon Launch After Latest Patch

After latest Tiamet patch on March 10, I launched drones from my ship to do some fighting in a DED complex. After taking some damage, I recovered drones, warped back to station, repaired them, and went back to complex.

Launched drones again. This time ALL launched drones showed armor damage upon launch and BEFORE combat.

I brought drones back to drone bay, warped back to orbit station, and relaunched them. Still showed damage in red but the red faded out over a short period of time and disappeared.

Quit game. Logged back in. Undocked from station. Launched drones while orbiting station. Now damage showed in shields, but very small. The red damage indicator also disappeared after a short period of time.

Anyone else seen this?

P.S. When docking in station with this "red damage" showing on drones, I did "repair ship" and nothing showed up as needing repair, i.e, the drones.

A couple of days after reporting this, I do not have the problem anymore.

I occasionally see this too. It typically happens when you reconnect to lost drones, and then you get a medium red bar that extends from the hull past the armor.

I am currently away, traveling through time and will be returning last week.

Arthur, thank you for the verification and explanation.
