Just unbelievable. Who caught it? Who missed it?

At 26 minutes and 53 seconds after 9 a.m., we passed a date and time represented by the first 10 digits of π. Very exciting! If you miss it, there will be one more chance at 9 p.m. After that, you’ll have to wait another 100 years for this auspicious moment to happen again, assuming that we will still be writing our Julian calendar dates as we do in America. -Slate Magazine-

Paradise is like where you are right now, only much, much better.

This is more historic than any eclipse. Be sure to have some bubbly on hand tonight!

We must accommodate the idiocracy.

Bah! It's 2015-03-14. Hardly Pi.

I /might/ accept 14-03-2015.

That's the two orders of significance. putting month first is just weird.

You can't just substitute "09" for "21", that's cheating! Also, in before jokes about how you lot write the date funny. Lol

No, your rights end in optimal+2*falloff

I believe it's 03/14/15. Numbers are fun and no one is right in date writing order. Even in my city different departments date differently on correspondence I receive from them.

Don't be such a spoilsport. Let them have their fun.

This thread has been moved to Out of Pod Experience.

Also, we write our dates 14-03-2015 where I live, so I agree with Steve Ronuken..Smile

In UK we read 14/03/15

Far from being pi

And because America controls the world but UK owns America, I disagree with you.

Therefor, your opinion is invalid and today is not the pi day.

Have a good day.

Yes and you probably think "Color" is correct.

Doesn't surprise me though, you seem to think memorizing Pi to 5 digits is impressive.

14.03.2015 doesn't resemble to Pi for me

In the U.S. military we write it "14 Mar 15". Not to "Mar" the sentiment involved.
(I'll bet these weirdos also do metric system.)

PS It's also Einstein's birthday. I hope how you write dates doesn't change that.
And, these Barbie boobs are starting to look ridiculous. Never correct anyone

Finally someone who understands that ISO-8601 is the only true way to write dates.

If that isn't the case, then the only true way is how 99.9% (read: All countries besides the US) do it.

The real benefit of the ISO format, is that you can sort them, without needing any special logic. Smile

I believe the key is keeping everything cold. One of the reasons for stone rolling pins, other than defending yourself against ninjas.
