After much digging and searching, we are finally ready to share with you the results of our artistic archeological expeditions. The Art of New Eden covers more than a decade of artwork for EVE Online, DUST 514 and includes artwork from the upcoming EVE: Valkyrie. If you want to see a sneak peak of what's inside and find out how to get your hands on a copy, including the limited edition, you should take a look at the new dev blog by CCP t0rfifrans.

Special thanks for the e-book edition, it might allow for some nice wallpapers! Big smile

I just wonder if this one will sell as well as EVE Source. After all, learning about the lore sounds more worth my money than looking at pictures.

So. I'm going to be at Fanfest. What's the best option for getting a super-shiny limited edition version? Should I just camp down a computer at 1500 GMT on the 20th? :x Or will I be able to grab one at the swag shop?

This is IMPORTANT. The picture shows a white redeemable skirt, but the linked website says it's a BLACK skirt. Which one are we actually getting?

Of the 6 clothing items offered with the limited edition, only TWO of them are actually not in the game yet. the rest I already have in my collection and/or is available on the market.

Not in game yet:

Please don't change the Chimera art to this

The old model looks a few hundred million times better. Seriously please reconsider how drastic the change is and bring back the top jutting bridge that separates the Chimera from a giant bland Rokh.

gah... i'm gonna have to step out of fan fest to order? this is madness. should have a few copies like 100 at FF... that way there is a chance to not have to bloody wait online. Oh well i'm gonna set an alarm.

The Limited Edition will only be available online at the provided site. Shipping them to Iceland, adding Icelandic VAT and customs, to sell there and have be carried away wasn't efficient, as well as due to the very limited nature of the books, we wanted everyone on the Interwebs to have an equal footing!

That said, there will be a few hardcovers at fanfest, but those are not as fancy!

Right-o, Torfi! I'd contend that it puts FF attendees at a disadvantage, given how unreliable Harpa's wireless is under the FF onslaught. ;) Still, will figure it out, then.
