Hi everyone,

If you are a play-the-whole-game style toon, that prefers the more chilled, relaxed and 'warm' game-play styles of Eve then you couldn't do much better than look at Discoverings as your new home. Whilst we started out as a NullSec Renter Corp we have matured over time to being a keystone Corp in the 2nd largest Alliance in the game in the form of SpaceMonkey's Alliance.

We are regularly in the Top 5 Corporations in the Alliance by overall participation and are always in the Top 10 for kills on the board each month. No mean feat when you consider we are one of 78 Corps in the Alliance (As of Nov 2015) - and we had zero aspirations to make it from a play-it-all approach. It just happens because we're having a tonne of fun and we get lots of great content, fights, fleets and things to do at home literally all day; everyday! It keeps us flying and enjoying the game together regularly!

Discoverings started off in Empire to build up numbers pending a move to rented NullSec space. We achieved that in record time; took up a new home in the North and East of the Map and settled in really well to our own home system. We then focussed on all positive PVE activities like Mission Running, Ratting, Exploration, Industry, Mining and Marketing; yes; absolute carebearing!

In April 2015 we left the chilled and relaxed lifestyle of NullSec Renters and joined the SpaceMonkey's. We haven't looked back ever since. Whilst we have much of 3 entire regions of the map to call home we still tend to live out of 2 or 3 main systems; some great for mining; some for ratting and others for PVP related content. Our assessed participation is always off the charts. We still retain our PVE roots and settle quickly into exploration, mining, ratting and so on when there's a lull in local or regional activity; but we're the first in the fleets when we need to step up to the plate to tackle home-defence; or make a mess of someone else's game by robbing them of some Sovereignty, blapping infrastructure or dealing with roaming gangs. It's great doing so in an alliance with all 3 core timezones; there's always something going on.

So, we now live the fullest lifestyle available in Eve. We do it all. No mandates, no mandatory ops; just sheer fun for the hell of it and because the content and opportunity is available at the time.

We offer a relaxed and chilled Corp environment which is inclusive, open, genuine with no mandatory operations, calls-to-arms or other must do's. We simply need you to prefer playing the game in a responsible and positive way. In other words, no ganking, no griefing, no tear-jerking, no trolling, no abuse and so on.

We have reasonable skill points requirements and are also bitter-veteran friendly so are space and lifestyle is readily available; even to relatively new players. To fully embrace the privileges and platform that our Alliance provides you don't need very high skills. A few months of initial focussed training will get you skilled enough to do great with us.

Our main requirement is that you are looking for a more socially active side to the game that is building on a proven roadmap for the future. As a miner by main profession you should be able to fly a tanked Procurer with Drones; as a Ratter; be able to fly something with some teeth and be able to survive the Serpentis rats in our home space.

A bunch of new Corp mates settled in over the weekend. It was great to watch the more experienced members running missions with some newer players helping them to level up in Missions more efficiently and quickly.

Thanks for the strong vote of confidence in the Corp, much appreciated. Yes, I think we have a unique and refreshing approach to how we integrate our game-play with information and context from the EVE API stack that makes the game more fun and immersive for our members.

Wow, almost 30 members strong. It's absolutely brilliant seeing the new members settle into the Corp so quickly. We are getting lots of brilliant feedback about the Corps Website and how it has been integrated into the CCP API's.

I had a Corp member complain to me today that he stayed up until 3am this morning running missions and ratting so he could get to the top of the 24 hour leader-boards, only to wake in dismay that he'd already been knocked into 4th place just a few hours later.

Given the huge number of Corporations in Eve finding the right Corp is a tough challenge - so make it easier and challenge prospective Corps about what they offer you beyond the standard set of simple in-game things. A little humbled today by several 'diplomatic' visits to the Corp from alliances and other Corps who are asking how we wrote and integrated our website. Indeed, thanks Sragir. Yes, I've been specifically avoiding top-loading our recruitment activity for a few days because the Corp has been very busy over the last week or so.

Yes! We've left the hell-hole known as Empire and now rent our own 0.0 space. We've settled in nicely into our new home system and have established all the trappings of a wonderful laid back, no doctrines or mandates style of PVE game-play.

We have ready access to a regional trading hub only a few jumps away - we have station access to factories, repair, offices and have established our own PoS and all the other trappings of a progressive and happy Corp.

All of our members have made the move and after a day or two of settling in have jumped straight into the high-revenue and maximum PVE fun that it associated with life as a NullSec Renter Corp.

We've even upgraded our home system so we have more permanent ratting anomalies available and have additional upgrades to plant as we shape the space we live in to our own desires and wishes.

We are well settled in to our shiny NullSec home with ready market hub access to a few jumps away, station access and all PoS etc all up and running. We have applied several military upgrades to the infrastructure hub giving Corp mates a permanent opportunity to run combat anoms.

We are now firmly established in our home, with a good set of neighbours around us and things are looking very good indeed.
