Change the near useless links that the gallente use, give them a purpose and have all 3 links be something relating to Damage.
IE
1 link that does bonus to damage output of weapons
1 link that boosts fleet tracking
1 link that boosts optimal range

Simple idea.

Then there would have to be equivalent links created for missiles.

There are legitimate uses for information warfare links, heck I remember goon fleets always having infowar links for their ecm wings.

Sort of supported, I realize there are uses for information warfare links... but yeah, for the most part it's a niche thing.

Definitely not DPS increasing bonuses though. Maybe just expanding information warfare links to make them a little more use for general fleet ops.

Not supported. New T2 ganglinks make eWAR particularly strong now. T2 TDs can get nearly 74%(vs 63% with no links) tracking or range disruption and damps up to 62.5%(up from 53%), and TPs up to 69.7% from a rapier/huginn. Jammers themselves become particularly strong. The ganglink boosts jammer strength more than 3 signal distortion amps (15.2 vs. 14.2), and with 2 distortion amps + boosts its 17.5.

All numbers were achieved w/ boosting Proteus, recon ships, and T2 modules.

I'm curious though, if TDs can easily get over 70% effectiveness now, if curses will appear solely with tracking disruptors loaded in the mids, possibly disabling up to 6 battleships.

HOWEVER, its near impossible to beat the benefits a fleet currently gets with the other boosters. Skirmish is particularly strong in pvp solely from the increased point range and webs. The tanking and repping benefits of a damnation for an armor fleet, getting reps in 3.2 secs vs. 5 seconds, huge difference.

The issue isn't if the gallente ganglinks are strong enough, the issue is that they are too specialized. IE, every fleet you will take damage, every fleet you will need points, but you don't need tracking disruptors, damps, and ECM in every fleet. Perhaps throw neut/vamp range/ammount on there and see what happens.

Damage links would be way overpowered.

They could probably do with a complete overhaul but my quick fix to improve their uses would be: -

Sensor Integrity - at least double if not triple the strength of this module.

Electronic Superiority - Expand the bonus out to all positive modules such as tracking comps, sensor boosters, ECCM, Tracking links, remote sensor boosters and perhaps even data and composition scanner modules. I feel this expands the use of the module and indirectly boosts applied damage through better tracking/ range boosts for use of those modules, it also further boosts ECCM (so perhaps the sensor integrity bonus should only be doubled), also introduces support for PVE/non combat type activities.

Recon Operation - Again include range enhancements to the remote boosting links above and data and composition scanner modules and tractor beams.

Alternatively

Replace Recon Operation with these:

Recon Operation - Bonus to scan probe strength and D-Scan Range

or

Drone Operation - Bonus to drone control range, omnidirectional tracking link and Drone Navigation Computer modules.

Actualy i like your ideas better, i knew the damage bonus would be overpowered.

I like expanding its uses beyond giving a massive boost to caldari ships (which doesnt make sense to me btw the whole race war thing.)

but making them boost remote boosting seems like a better idea TBH.
Having the links apply to ALL forms of ewar (cept what minmatar already boost) like the remote sensor booster, or Tracking links.
