Don't biomass. You never know when having an alt with those skills may come in handy. Only biomass if you really need that third character slot or if you get queasy in character select just from looking at it (I did this to an ugly alt once).

A lot of people end up using their secondary characters more anyway. Cara was not my first character and doesn't have the highest SP but she definitely gets the most playtime these days. You mention that your skill training was pretty spread out. If you focus your training toward a specific playstyle you'll find it doesn't take long to get back to where you were on your next character. Probably half your trained SP was irrelevant anyway, so that's a few months you don't have to retrain (yet). And if you find you desperately need those skills, just log in your new (old) "alt" (because you didn't biomass, right??)

Oh I'm keeping that character as it can fly barges, and I don't plan on doing any mining but I'll keep it in case I ever feel like shooting some rocks one day. One of my unused alts will get the chop. I'd hate to delete this one though as I'm really pleased with the way it looks. Although it is called Kek... Lol WTB character creation data export.

Yes, you are right. It's just a bit rubbish having to train skills again. Although I did make the mistake of spreading my skills too wide instead of specialising, so starting again will allow me to plan everything better. Now I just have to wait for the 10 hour biomass timer.

You really shouldn't biomass the character, just keep it around as an alt and she may turn up useful one day.

After numerous trial accounts, I started playing a full account in 2008 and had an active account for about a year (I think). I am fairly certain I had 11M SP. After quitting the game, I started using the name Aaril in numerous other games, and found that it was available in EVE.

In 2012 I started a new account so I could get the extra 21 days and use the name Aaril. At first I could not believe that I gave up 11M SP for a name, but now that I am close to 60M I do not regret it at all.

Fluffers here was supposed to be an "experimental" character that I would toss once I learned how to play the game and made a few mistakes.

Then I realized that re-rolling is not a thing here in EVE. So I kept him.

Originally a "joke name," Fluffers here has grown on me and become invaluable to my plans.
Plus, it's fun to see how people react when they die to "ShahFluffers" or hear me on comms for the first time ("Why does a dude call himself 'fluffers?'")

I'm in a similar boat. Bebop was supposed to be an awox alt and character that I could post on the forums with without having it traced back to my main. I made too many friends on him, and rarely touch the other character any more.

My "public" characters, like this one, are the only ones who talk, post, interact in the help channels etc. My other characters don't do any of that, they're not in a public corp and they're also not on evemon or EFT. It allows me to "fall back" to them when I get tired of it all and it makes some things just much easier.
